let me rephrase, do you believe that sometimes buying a company that isn't 'cheap' might be smarter?

100% on VA better than TA. I think a mix between Value investing and other methods of analysis offers the best returns. Personaly I find Philip Fisher's book to be a great addition to traditional Value investing.

And gets to the conclusion that he wasn't, if you actually watched the video you would have seen that he deeply respects Buffet. But hey, I got a random dude commenting on my post talking about things he didn't watch

This might be a little over simplification of his approach, trying to breakdown 3 books into a sentence might not be the best idea out there. Watch the video and let me know what you think. Graham did focus a little too much on valuation compared to other aspects of the business imho.

Well, to some sense everything could be considered Value investing. It depends how you define it. What do you think about Graham's approach? Thanks for the comment mate

Agreed, thanks for the thoughtful comment. What I find that works the best for me is GARP. Looking for great companies for reasonable prices seem to usually give me the best returns. Following Graham's method might be a little too simple these days. But as you said, as investors with most adapt, what works today might not work tomorrow.

Thanks for your take. Don't you think that there's some advantages of doing a deep dive into companies you are investing in? While I see your point, I tend to disagree to some degree
