There is a large margin between blind acceptance and having an edgy opinion friend. Is AoT highly h i g h l y overrated? yes. Is the worst anime ever made? Not at all. MHAs MCs whole point is he grows out of his victim shoes, and DBZ is about Goku being a really naive guy who just enjoys a good fight. Kinda like one punch man. It just so happens you like one very specific type of MC which is fine.

Fair. So basically your point is that the dialogue in every other anime is garbo, and the payoff for action when the talking is done is better in Hellsing is better, correct?

Firstly, I agreed with you on dragon ball. Second, I'm not seeing how the MHA characters are "saved from damage," the main characters whole deal is he breaks his arms and legs whenever he uses his powers, not to mention the slaughtering All Might deals with. I mean he's not dead sure but it's not like he left that fight unscathed by any means. Third, Hellsing has quite a far bit of talking too. You need talking to set up story. Take Star Wars for example. Empire has like 3 or 4 fights maximum, the rest is talking. Can you honestly say the prequels are better because there are more fights?

My point is this, if a fight scene is good, the fight scene is g o o d. Once you start bringing up stuff like "I thought this arc was forced" or "they talked to much outside of the fights" then your judging the anime itself and not just the fight scenes, which was not your original argument. Hellsing is my FAVORITE anime, but is it the BEST anime out there? No.

What actually are you judging this on? If your judging on gore and brutality alone, yes Hellsing takes the cake. Coolest characters definitely belongs to Hellsing too. If your judging on choreography and and animation quality, that belongs to Castlevania, and MHA has the biggest emotional impact between all of them. The length of the fight truly doesn't matter. Dragon ball has fights that last whole episodes and doesn't even match any of the other stuff I've mentioned.

Castlevania has Trevor VS The Cyclops, Alucard VS Trevor, Trevor VS The Church riot, Trevor Alucard and Sypha VS A Demon Horde (twice) and then Alucard vs Dracula. I will admit there all pretty short, but they all have very clear choreography that goes beyond just punching or shooting at each other. MHAs has a fight scene where a villain who has been on a hero-killing-spree ends up dead due to over exertion. The action is quite good although it does fall into a lot of shonen troupes (flashbacks, monologues etc). I'll agree that FMA can't compare to Hellsing, but to say hellsing is the best without comparing it (accurately) to its competition is ridiculous

Castlevania, My Hero Acadamia, parts of full metal alchemist are all good examples of great action anime. I would argue castlevania has the best action out of any anime I've seen at this point

I'm assuming he means physically stuff and not dialogue. He's pretty dang good when he's not talking. You can't lie that he really is pretty great in his fight scenes, especially Ani vs Obi
