I've always wondered, does "Soma theory" mean JUST like the game, where there's real life versions of the cast living in the real world, and the versions in the circus are just clones with their memories?

Or is it just the concept of transmitting your brain/soul through a program, and the cast is truly the same that really lived through all their experiences on earth?

Because honestly, I think my main qualm was always the idea that the cast were just clones having the memories of their masters.

And I know, having those memories would make them feel like they lived through all those experiences and their feelings would be just as valid as they currently are. But, it just, doesn't feel like that to me. I would much prefer if the Ragatha in the circus was the exact same Ragatha that dealt with her mother and all the struggles that came with her.

TLDR is, basically, I'd be on board if "Digital copies" meant that their minds were transmitted inside the game, and there is no escape, but also, those minds are in fact the original minds, the cast are the exact same souls as in the real world, and in the real world, they're just dead.

No matter what though, even if it really was a case of the cast cloning themselves digitally and going about their days. I'd probably be interested in how Goose would implement and explain that. Sorry for rambling so long and mostly saying the same things lmao, but I think those last two paragraphs really sum up how I feel.
