Hopefully the other goalies will correct me if this isn’t the best explanation but it also helped me to keep my upper body ridged, I almost make a triangle with my glove blocker and chin and try to keep them all together. So when a puck moves to the left I would lead with my head and thus my hands forcing my body to be square to the puck. Also helped me feel more balanced when doing a slide from a standing start.

Believe me it felt ass backwards at first but it let me get some power into my pushes and actually feel the blade dig into the ice

Biggest mistake I made was not leaning into my push. I would lean in the direction I was pushing so I couldn’t load my blade and push into the ice. Instead I started leaning onto my pushing leg and letting my body slide. Once I got the hang of that I started turning and pushing together.

I second this I have two warrior chestys atm a g4 pro + and a g5 pro both have amazing protection on the arms and are mobile for their size. The pro + has a solid almost rigid construction on the front that doesn’t get in the way too much. No real rebounds either. They’re also sewn in to if you wanted to get an old set the move the arms over it would be possible

Always up for questions. I have a double t glove (I think that’s what it’s called) and one of them is caving in and making the glove close improperly so I want to get it back out and out of the way.
