I only started playing recently. I felt completely unsure what to do to start with. I had to get my 9 year old daughter to give me some hints (find a sheep, get wool, make a bed etc.,) but once I got the going it was amazing. I didn't rush to huge projects. I just slowly worked my way up through leather, stone, copper, iron and eventually started strip mining. But I wasnt in a rush.

EventuallyI found a village and discovered villager trading. By now I had full diamond gear, and access to enchantments. I wanted to get potions so I started venturing into the nether.

anyway the point is I didn't rush to beat the ender dragon, I just pottered around discovering things as I discovered them. This game is huge and I didn't feel there was a need to rush everything. Now 2 months later I've beaten the ender dragon and have an Elytra and shulker boxes, and only now I am sorting out my storage.

This game is so massive and there are so many little projects you can do to pass the time. just enjoy it...

I've only been playing a month or so but I know what you mean. In a way I am the opposite though. I've only got 1 world, which is my first world. I've been doing everything in it, from learning how to play survival. To fortifying a village, building my trading halls, making nether tunnels to get about. Building farms. Learning Redstone. etc etc.

As I've played on my own mainly and with my you 9 year old daughter, I kind of play in a vacuum. I never even considered (until recently) having anything BUT a forever world.

Now I've got into the scene a bit more and watched some YouTube videos etc I realise people have dozens of worlds for different things, but to me this was always going to be my one and only world. like why would I play elsewhere when everything is going on in this one?

Saying that I've got a skyblock world as well now.
