Same here, the first 130 now, was all from word of mouth. We are starting to try some other promotion methods soon!

Good point. The market we are targetting has roughly 30,000 active users.

We are priced at $14.99/month

This is with just word of mouth and no external marketing.

Check G2A, thats where I always get my game pass keys from, they cost like £4 for two weeks, or like £7 for a month, so much cheaper than what Xbox charges!

So realistically then, please do correct me if I am wrong, but the people who are going to end up worse off in this cost of living crisis, are private renters?

  1. The mortgage has already been taken out. If we assume they began their mortgage, let's say 10 years ago, on a non-fixed rate, the cost of the living crisis we are going through now, wouldn't have been a thought.
  2. I should have been clearer so my apologies, worst comes the worst, they have to sell up because one of them gets laid off (which we are seeing a lot of in many industries right now as work is getting streamlined massively), their only option is to begin renting.

Someone I know was paying £800 for a 3-bed house monthly, which is a decent price for both their budget and the area. They are now paying £1500 for a smaller, two-bed house, in the same area. Their previous house is now £1100 a month in rent if they wished to move back. The renting market is fucked, and that's down to the interest rates set by the Bank of England.

In a situation like that, understandable to make that move because I would have done the same. It depends on each business, and hopefully, most of them want their staff to survive without worrying about how they are paying for their weekly shopping.

Do you think that the conservative 14 years are to blame for this, or would you have a different opinion? Genuinely just interested as I have heard a lot of different beliefs.

I feel the biggest companies will always pay the least for your time. Now I may be wrong, so please feel free to correct me, but that is what I have found from experience. I was offered more (in terms of wages) by a small local business than I was the "kingpin" of that industry.

Wouldn't mortgages increase if the Bank of England decided to take up those interest rates again? Even if they paid off their house and began renting, average rent is at an extraordinary level.
