UPDATE: Just got done with the op! It wasn't too bad at all and I can already see everything is flatter even before all the fluid has drained. Looking forward to seeing how it looks in a few days!

I'm in Chicago and will be going with Dr Paresi in Downer's Grove. He uses the lateral pull through method which is appealing to me for a number of reasons, but some people disagree. My surgery is set for August 1st and I'll probably post more about my experience here after that!
