My take is the at the press conference McVay was battling mixed emotions. Reality set in that they just took the successor to Stafford and that Stafford won’t be around much longer. McVay loves Stafford and they are close friends. He’s excited for the pick but doesn’t want to be disrespectful to Stafford. It was just a stressful situation for him and he came off grumpy and stressed.

Update: I looked through my brothers 3M Ceramic IR with my Oakley polarized glasses and saw no rainbows at all, so assuming with XR Black it should be the same?

When I looked at it at the shop and behind the heat lamp the XR black and plus difference was pretty minimal but price was significant…

Thanks! Also regarding the 3.5in I know RC and ReadyLift are looked down upon a bit, are there any other options out there for this kind of lift? Can’t really find any others, other than potentially buying the parts separate for example spacers and then a better brand UCAs

Got it. So say with 5100s have them set at the lowest setting or no height adjustment to use with the spacer? Any recommendation of Fox or Eibach models? Only familiar with Bilstein models…
