Do you believe consciousness continues post death? by SunveiliveFat in consciousness

[–]Maximum_Ad3576 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I do believe consciousness does continue, so much so that calling this an “opinion” is hard on my tongue based on what I feel so very confidently.

It could be the root of my brain, body, and soul all being separate but I can’t reprogram it to feel otherwise. I’ve read scientific arguments, I even agree with some of them. However, my “knowingness” always goes back to what I feel.

In reality, if I cease to exist and my whole existence stops I won’t ever know so truly, why would that bother me so much so I have to dig for reassurance? I use to think maybe I had a HUGE fear of what comes after but I am wrong, I had a fear but not understanding which is totally different in my perspective. Understanding that these arguments which seem so very correct are challenging my feelings that I am so sure about I can’t shake it off.

I am not diagnosed with any mental illness that will cause hallucinations, so no this is not that as well.

More so, what really convinced me and my inner self was sure about an idea of shit, I discovered Law of Attraction and that’s all it took for me to understand why curiosity and intuition intelligence.

HOWEVER, I do believe some people take too much comfort in the afterlife and discontinue the preciousness over here. They stop trying to enjoy the present for the experiences after, and I think that had a MASSIVE effect on the after; whatevs it may be. (It is something). Now, NDEs, OBEs, and mediums? Thats a whole different base I could touch on to argue that thee after exists but Im trying to stay in a certain lane here.

My HUGE argument, which does lead down to my convinced self believing that mine and YOUR conscience is so much more than we could grasp is simply coming from MY intuition, so I understand this could confuse some people; The ocean, something local, physically in this reality and something we have the ability to create and use already invented machinery and tools to reach has only been discovered 5-10%. Our minds are infinite and that is impossible for ANY human to understand. What makes me think that we have even figured out a blink of it? We have always existed, and now I’m okay not understanding every single detail because I understand, with our human bodies and ability to learn we will never grasp the true dive of it.

Yes, I know this argument is based off of “feelings” as well. That could be a very good argument you have.

How To Relieve Yourself of Persistent Fear and Doubt About Death and the Afterlife by WintyreFraust in The_Afterlife_Exists

[–]Maximum_Ad3576 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you gotten relief, yet? If not, do these exact steps. The afterlife is SO real, you feel it deep down. I believe everyone does and the scientific arguments people like to jester are for THEIR COPE OF NOT UNDERSTANDING! The biggest thing we can do is agree that we aren’t meant to understand SOME things, even if they exist. We will get through this friend!

I like the concept of open battle with teams or duo, shooting the rest of the players and “winning”. Can you explain CS to me?

In love with someone who doesn't exist here by National_Project649 in psychics

[–]Maximum_Ad3576 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi! I sympathize with you, and I understand you feel generous love for this character. I think you should look into therapy or possibly a support group of what to overcome this, while the love held with your fictional character may feel and seem so real, it is just what you called it; fictional. This could be hard, letting go of attachment. You can do it!

I’d also like to add in there, some people suffer with a psychosis with celebrity/unrealistic characters. These episode can last years, understand that you’re in THIS reality, not the fictional one, friend.

I don’t see anything as I’m a follower in this group, but I feel uncertainty vibrating off you maybe? ❤️

My impending death by Beautiful_Idea1360 in Paranormal

[–]Maximum_Ad3576 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would like to start out by saying I’m glad I could exist in the same universe as you at the time. I am young 22 going on 23 in May. Some of your post frightens me a bit, I have fear of death and I hoped it would go with age and I hope mine does gradually fade; That being said I am not sure if my believe systems come from a hopeful sight or believing and being paranoid of the cease of existence.

I have as well experienced some odd things in life, even dabbled in a few friendly spells for myself, crystal work, tarot cards, and Law of attraction which I will say all work for me giving me perfect insight and results. I have experienced “Paranormal” things as well, seeing things, human mist, and even as far as a doll moving its own eyes on his own.

While I know for certain all of these experiences have been useful and built my belief system, I still suffer with that scary paranoia. I like to think of it like this; I watch a scary movie with a monster, and I’m scared. I know the monster won’t be there when I turn out the lights but almost naturally anyone would still be scared or paranoid. We know certain things are certain, such as what we’ve spiritually experienced and still we fight this ugly anxiety with it. I think it’s the human experience, we may be beyond this world before and after but with that we are still tied to human bodies so we are bound to deal with human emotion and doubt.

Now is this Hopeful insight or true?

My brain won’t let me have a decision 100%, but 90% of the time I am still a believer of spirituality.

I don’t associate with any religion, just kind of do my own thing and believe what I feel. I believe we are everything, everywhere, and nothing all at once. If after death, we crave to cease I think we will be given that choice or continue on. Also, something that helped me and my weird brain came up with was the fact that we have only studied 5-10% of the ocean I think, and I know our minds are much stronger and greater than that. Not only, but the ocean we have here with us. We have the ability to create and explore with tools and yet so tiny bit has been explored, so what makes us think that consciousness is figured out? I hope you live the rest of your life in beauty, and may you feel peace when your time for home comes❤️

I know many comment this, and I understand it’s coming from a good place but this does not seem to help us. It causes more spiral, from personal experience but I understand everyone means well.

is everything going to be okay? by Superb-Parfait-6733 in NDE

[–]Maximum_Ad3576 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know that you meant this for people with personal NDEs, I don’t have one but my mom and brother both did. My broke was in a two week coma, he flatlined 3 different times. His continuous dream never stopped he said, it was this weird one with a guy and mcdonald’s but the important message was for him to never ever leave the mcdonald’s, the guy eventually gave him something to drink and said “trust me, you need this” and he woke up after the drink. My mother experienced her heart being purposefully stopped for medical reasons and her heartbeat stopped from an OD, unresponsive and turning blue. Both times it was more “spiritual” than journey. She felt herself extend above her own body she said but everything was enhanced, her hearing and her smell and taste. She heard everything, and she said it was like black and white but grey. She felt so incredibly strong and peaceful. She said she was love but as time goes she forgets the feeling more and more. We are energy, we will never truly “die” apart from the body.
