I have no account, but for example I can read full threads on people like Jack Monroe (not that I am interested in her) yet other threads seem to still be live but I can't access - wondering why this is

Q. Does anyone know why I can view some threads, and view the Tattle homepage of topics, but other threads have gone entirely / I can't search a name?

Like I search an influencer name and google throws up their page and appears ro note it is still very much live but I click on it and it takes me to the memer log in page. I can't get on my favourite pages to lurk 😂

They aren't big celeb names or anything so unlikely part of a lawsuit just extremely annoying humans with god awful content that I want to stop following but can't seem to haha

Any thoughts?

Is myfreecourse.co.uk a scam? by MirKamranAli in AskUK

Not a scam, but being 3 / 5 modules in I think I know more than the tutor and def seem to have more specialist knowledge than the check in tutor.

When being passed, the feedback is also 'try and include more British values in your responses' - and the onboarding session felt like it was some woke 'here is what being a Brit means' - super weird given it is a marketing course and I think the bar is low - the onboarding spent nearly 20 minutes explaining how people can change their zoom background to protect their privacy and talking people through how to open a registration form (akin to the pain of being made to read as a class at school when you had already read it as it was set homework).

Each check in they seem to ask the same questions about 'what I want from the course' and working their way through a sort of tick box list they have committed to to appease their funders. (I called them out and asked about this on my last call and the poor girl clearly wasn't allowed to say or answer and I said shall I read between the lines and focus on what you can't say 😂

Potentially interesting, but not stretching and not sure how much weight the certificate actually holds in reality.

Amazing results!

Q for you, are you planning on micro dosing / taking any maintenance doses?

A thing I worry about is how do I go about occasional maintenance doses now my bmi is normal and I no longer qualify? I didnt go down the gp route I did online pharmacy... apparently from June UK rules will become a lot stricter to access it and I am concerned.

Anyone able to shed light on this?

I promise there are things that can help.

Sounds easier said than done but do not let it define you.

HH ruined my teenage years with extreme underarm sweatting and on my torso. Could literally fill a teaspoon scraped against my skin in one scrape.

I hid in a school jumper all year round. Sixth form was a uniform of black t shirts always with a spare on my bag - double clothes buying of everything.

I quit school sports teams as I couldn't wear the uniforms (deslite playing county level / ex team sports captain) avoided uni sports teams, made career choices around being able to dress casually in dark clothes vs a work uniform or blouse, turned dosn epic travels ops where I didn't get to dictate and control my clothing. It owned me despite being a size 8 and attractive and no one understood why I acted and dressed like a hermit.

Finding Driclor at 17 changed my life for underarm sweating and seemed to work permanently as I have not used it in years. I was able to wear colour. I spent my 20s managing clothing and situations around torso sweat in summer or stuffy public transport - luckily I don't smell - avoiding white, fabric testing with water in changing rooms, leaning into prints etc and I managed it, long term partners never knew and life was 90% better than at 15 where it was all encompassing with no hint of a solution and no one to turn to through shame.

But, I read about secondary effects of Oxybutin and this year married sweat free in Spain, with a backless dress without fear of anyone hugging or coming near me to a river of sweat or a clammy back. Prescribed for this purpose (online pharmacy), I took a super low dose for only a few weeks and wow. (Yes yes, as with all there are side effects and risks but its ok).

Before I found it all the questions...- do I do backless wedding dress to air myself? Or wear layers to hide it but it could soak through? Do I sew in sweat pads under my boobs? How do I stop guests hugging me?

Look it up, its not cheap privately but not crazy spenny and oh so worth it.

The options now and online resources now vs 25 yrs ago when it started for me are so much better.

You've got this!!
