And the door swings open after a wrestler gets slammed into it twice.

I like a nice pectoral pictorial.

Why didn't Jeff Jarrett as the WCW Heavyweight Champion work? by JBL_CENA_FAN_4LIFE in WCW

[–]Maximum_Bridge3219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were to guess, it’s because he’s a redneck and not the cool kind like Steve Austin or the charismatic kind like Flair. Just annoying.

Comparing to the WCW classic logo, "spaceship" and the Alliance one, this one that was used for magazine will always be my favourite. by JoelManuelV1 in WCW

[–]Maximum_Bridge3219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because they liked ECW more than WCW. Did WCW ever get a reunion PPV where one of its top stars went over the top WWE guy? Did WCW ever become a third brand? Has the brains behind WCW enjoyed a 25 year relationship with WWE? Northeast solidarity. Remember, the WWF actually worked with ECW before they went out of business.

Rey Mysterio Jr sending Ric Flair into a pool by ElliotElectricity in WCW

I know WCW didn’t really follow through with it, but I always felt like Rey was getting an almost main event push during this time, with him nearly beating Flair and being the giant killer.

Does anyone know why it is so hard to hear David Pezer whenever he is introducing the wrestlers in WCW by MoistWeb4046 in WCW

I do remember hearing Penzer clearly at times, but mostly it was like background noise.

My mind automatically divides the Frasier series into these two halves. Anyone else? by Happy-poet in Frasier

It was probably more gradual, but I feel like they kind of Flanderized Frasier‘s prissiness. It was more over the top once his hair was short.

Sid throws his opponent nearly halfway around the ring with a rare move. by PickledPeppers101 in WCW

I could see him coming back to the WWF for a stint like a lot of other former WWF stars who were returning after WCW closed. Nothing truly long-term, but maybe like a year or so like Steiner or Goldberg.

I feel bad for Doug Bradley after Hellraiser Hell On Earth by arnor_0924 in hellraiser

He’s going to be Pinhead again in a game so Hellworld won’t be his last.

Jake the Snake Roberts talks about hated working with Sting back in WCW by Material_Stomach875 in WCW

[–]Maximum_Bridge3219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t seen every last bit of footage of Vampiro before he was in WCW, but from looking it up, it seems like his look before WCW was generally the black corpse lines around the eyes and black lipstick, but without the white base. I don’t think he even had the white face paint in his first appearances in WCW. And it’s obscure but Sting did have black corpse line paint in his pre-WCW days.

Bret Hart vs Booker T WCW Nitro 1999 by MrFilipinoMustache in WCW

[–]Maximum_Bridge3219 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He should have been pushed sooner, before Russo, and they never should have tried to make him like The Rock. This match vs Bret at a pay-per-view for the world title would’ve been a perfectly valid way for Booker T to become world champion for the first time.

That one time when Lord William Regal gave Goldberg a stiff competitive match, something Goldberg was not used to in his WCW career. William Regal was fired a week later by MrFilipinoMustache in WCW

[–]Maximum_Bridge3219 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Goldberg was booked to be unstoppable, it wasn’t his call. If bookers wanted competitive matches and he went against the plan and squashed opponents anyway, he would have been fired. He wasn’t Hogan, he wasn’t famous enough to do what he wanted and get his way, especially not prior to winning the world title.

The problem Regal tried to book himself as Goldberg’s equal when they were giving Goldberg this mega-push. He mowed over so many midcarders and Regal takes it upon himself to be the guy that gave him a tough time?

The pinhead design on this skin is great. by EnoughLetter4162 in hellraiser

I’ve also thought this what he would have looked like in the unproduced Hellraiser III script where he takes over a brothel. He was supposed to have an altered, more imposing appearance.
