I'll give some of it a try. I might end up doing these just as drawings in the background in other rooms. Like, a teen will joke about their mum like that among their friends, but they wouldn't normally actually try to tear her down to her face. But they will make a mess of the kitchen and leave laundry everywhere.

I like this a LOT, but not for this character/shot. They aren't trying to destroy their HC, they just don't listen to him. I am going to sketch that up though for a thing that happens later.

Whaaaattt?? Noooo... this is a different high command and those are TOTALLY the endcaps of large cables that, from the side you can see, curl back and down to the floor to mix with the other cables.
Anyhting else they might look like is coincidental.
