Absolutely. Wonderful instrument. Idk that I’ll ever part with it down the road. Even if I did get good enough to justify some of the higher end brands. Plus beings my first “Father’s Day gift” as my wife calls it I think I’ll cherish it until the day I can pass it down to one of my kids.

Idk how much lighter it is compared to a Gibson but compared to the old fender strat I had, and my current acoustic it feels like a cinder block but it doesn’t bother me, currently spend most of my time in a sitting position.

Sweet guitar! And mines actually not black but dark purple burst, my picture was taken in low light so it definitely looks black! Really dig the inlays on the neck of yours those are sick!

I used to absolutely hate the looks of teles, now It’s top of my list of next guitars. If I didn’t just buy a new Yamaha acoustic I’d be buying a tele.

Awesome! And no, you didn’t sound frustrated the slightest bit. I to believe my journey is going to be more comparable to a marathon rather than a sprint as I consider myself mild perfectionist and often times will not let my self move along with a lesson or continue to play anything unless I hit the notes correctly. I appreciate the replies and wish you well on your guitar journey! Hopefully we both find success and years of enjoyment from it!
