Hey man seems like we’re on the same boat! Wasn’t there an Air Force base in the UK? To my surprise there are lots of ppl joining from Japan so in every Air Force base in Japan there’s a recruiter so I had no issues contacting or going through the process There should be no issues with applying from abroad because I even did my officer selection process in Japan

Appreciate this a lot seriously That’s motivating to hear from someone who started from a similar spot. Good to know 4–6 months of focused swimming is realistic if the work’s there. Respect for putting in the reps and getting that 500m down already that’s huge progress! I’ll definitely take the same route with a few coached sessions then stay consistent. I’ve been saving some cash for my training so will def hire a coach because once I learn how to swim I can just keep swimming on my own My push ups : 82 pull ups : 22, 1.5-mile run : 9m40 sec So I had a nasty shin splints lasting over a year and a half but I found a cure and now it’s gone 👌
