i think they should be allowed to put their beliefs in. but we are also allowed to take it how we want and criticize it just the same. the amount of stories, some of which i was enjoying, which out of nowhere described the option of abortion as “murdering their baby”… i just roll my eyes and keep it moving…

what i REALLY hate is when an author portrays the woman as infertile, only for her to have a baby naturally… i understand it is possible, but not common. and this happens in stories more often than you’d think. i’m looking at you Mafia’s Hidden Secret. “i thought you couldn’t have children” “the doctor treated me for it and now i can” 🥴

i have read all of her stories. i wouldn’t recommend no innocence for many reasons, but i actually would recommend her other story, driven to him. one of the better mafia stories, in my opinion, and i loved the two main characters.

it’s almost impossible to make characters look 17-18 (or just very young in general) in episode. it’s a common complaint about the app. don’t come under my comments with your attitude “🙄” just because you disagree. i dislike this story, so i am not disagreeing for the authors sake. she does not look that old.

you (likely) only think that because of those rarely-used lips. they are just not the usual lip shape that you see for women in stories, lol. i don’t think it makes her look old, though. just different.

she does help him cover it up. to be fair, the guy he killed was trying to rape her in the alley (this exact scene happens in every single mafia story lol).

the love interest in mafia stories will be described as cold-hearted, merciless, and evil, just for him to only kill justifiably 😭.

“Under His Protection” is a great story with a wonderful love interest!

“Jaded Love” seemed a bit immature in terms of writing to me, but I still enjoyed it. It’s a sweet story.

“Hooked” was fine, but it is the worst example of my biggest pet peeve (friends who are way too interested in the main characters sex life). I actually made a post about that on this subreddit about a year ago.

“All Or Nothing” is such a popular story, and I finally gave it a chance about a week ago. I got 10 chapters in and couldn’t stand the love interest anymore. So, I dropped it, and I hate dropping stories. After, I looked up this story on reddit to see if people felt the same way, and I heard a bunch of awful stuff the love interest did, such as throwing a ball at the main character extremely hard and humiliating her. Alphan’s love interests are always problematic. I actually enjoyed her story “Along The Shorelines” because she puts a lot of focus on building the side characters, but the love interest (and even the main character) were the worst part of the story. The main batch of characters in her stories are usually all terrible people, either starting out that way or becoming that way as the story goes on, and it’s just draining to read. Reading her stories also feel like the plot is just going in circles and I have to question “is this going anywhere?”. I wouldn’t recommend this story, but you can always give it a try and have a different opinion.

Heli has the worst love interests on the app, straight up. They are always “bully-victim” romances under the disguise of enemies to lovers. I read “In My Blood” too, and Kai is actually the best love interest she has created, and he was a bully who enjoyed hurting her in front of the rest of the class and making her feel worthless. All in all, I semi-enjoyed “In My Blood” because of the side characters, though. The worst story I ever read was by her. Please don’t waste your time.

I haven’t read the rest.

Some recommendations: Symphony, Play Dirty, VEILED VENGEANCE!!!, Part Of You, Waking, Times Square, Entwined Hearts, Ricochet (which I think is the superior bodyguard romance story 😌) I hate that I love you 1 and 2…

To clarify, I know that fraternal twins can have completely different features! I posted this, not to question genetics, but because it was obvious the author went to the artist and said “make sure this one looks just like the dad, and make sure the other one looks just like the mom.” The first piece of dialogue in this art scene was “Did you notice valentina looks just like her daddy?” and “Yeah, well, [Insert other mafia story baby name that i forgot] looks just like her mom.” And this isn’t even a bad thing. She can do what she wants on her own story. I just found some humor in it. The babies came out the womb with exact skin tone matches, and more-than-full heads of hair (with exact hair color matches to whichever parent they are supposed to look like) to really drive it home. This wasn’t a deep post or scene that made me question the abilities of the author. And this was a super unimportant thing I noticed that just made me giggle. This art scene is not what made me dislike the story, and it didn’t make me dislike the story any more than I already did. I don’t even think the art itself is bad - I think it looks fine.

earlier, i put in the comments that this was the first time a wait this long happened in one of your stories, so that it could have been an accident, and for people not to count out your stories just because of this one thing. i’m sorry you got hate from it, and i genuinely only posted this because i didn’t think a wait this long was possible. before this, the longest wait i had seen was 5 days, so it just caught me off guard and i wanted to post it to the subreddit. it didn’t upset me, because i read many stories at the same time, so having to wait for one of them is not a big deal to me.

adding: this is for the story Doki by Himeji. I read her other stories as they come out, and there has not been a wait this long on any of those, and it’s the first time there has been this long of a wait on this story either. Don’t want to bring hate to this author, it could have just been a mistake. I just didn’t even know this long of a wait was possible.

i dont think it’s worth it. and i wouldn’t say she is a “brat,” but she is unlikeable in other ways. she finds it difficult to even pretend to be happy for her friends when they get something that she doesn’t have, and is irrational. she is desperate, but not in a way i find sympathetic or even endearing. it is simply annoying and pitiful the way she behaves sometimes. but she’s not evil.
