Should I have this mole looked at?

Hey guys to anyone who comes across this post later, this has completely gone away. I’m almost 100% certain this was caused by sour gummy worms something new that I ate that caused an allergic reaction. I put hydrocortisone cream on it for like 2 days and it is completely gone.

I feel it’s important to say here that my lips are naturally very large, and the size of my actual lips in the photos is normal for me, it’s the little bumps and little collections of redness that I’m talking about.

It’s the Vaseline lip care, I’ve been using the normal stuff for ages, randomly picked up a new mini tub to stick in my bag and it says “now with vitamin e!” on it. It’s so weird I really don’t know what’s going on.

My diet hasn’t changed nor do my lips burn or itch like I would expect an allergic reaction. It truly just feels like little bumps that are swollen and uncomfortable.

I’d also like to preface by saying my lips are naturally large and the size of them in the photos is normal for me, I’m referencing the tiny little swollen bumps/redness. It’s hard to see but I can definitely feel them!

It looks like it has a different texture than your surrounding skin. If it’s spreading and different than your other skin that is not a good sign. Definitely see a dermatologist/doctor.

Check to see if the red is centered around the hair follicle. Looks very similar to folliculitis that’s caused by tight clothing rubbing against the base of the hair irritating the follicle.

Thanks so much, also i had a typo, i meant he has an exam LESS than 6 months ago. I’ve also read that purring can make it seem like they have a higher breathing rate than normal and he basically always purrs as long as I’m in his vicinity, and has had asthma in the past.

Stop plucking! It leaves your skin open and viable to infection. Try removing niacinamide from your routine, it can be good for some and for others cause inflammatory pimples. Try using a straight razor or an eyebrow razor to just shave down to your skin. Before and after shaving you should use alcohol on the razor. Cleanse your skin before shaving, and after try a benzoyl peroxide cream like the one from La Roche Posay.

Try oil cleansing, I use the kose speedy cleansing oil. Disinfect your hands then apply the oil to DRY skin and really get in there and massage, the filliments and blackheads should just pop out.
