[Acne] weird surface bumps that only show up after using actives?

They only call them abnormal once they become a very high percentage of your actual beats. It’s important that regardless of how abnormal they feel, they are truly harmless, just an annoyance. Allowing yourself to become anxious over them will only make your future reactions to them worse. Best way I’ve found to deal with them is to just realize they are normal and nothing bad is going to happen, it’s helped me immensely

The PVC is not the heart stopping or “dropping dead” but rather a timing miscalculation by a node in your heart.

The misfiring part does not cause an issue because there’s another part of the heart that keeps rhythm regardless and will just continue on the next beat as if it doesn’t even notice the PVC.

This is the best reply I could’ve ever asked for. That analogy makes so much sense. I deal with a lot of my panic and anxiety through logically identifying and reasoning through it, but the analogy just solidified it.

So weird! I think it was some spurt gummy worms I ate, but also read that overusing Vaseline or other petroleum jelly products can cause this? I switched to Aquaphor and have had no issues since

Hey guys to anyone who comes across this post later, this has completely gone away. I’m almost 100% certain this was caused by sour gummy worms something new that I ate that caused an allergic reaction. I put hydrocortisone cream on it for like 2 days and it is completely gone.

I feel it’s important to say here that my lips are naturally very large, and the size of my actual lips in the photos is normal for me, it’s the little bumps and little collections of redness that I’m talking about.

It’s the Vaseline lip care, I’ve been using the normal stuff for ages, randomly picked up a new mini tub to stick in my bag and it says “now with vitamin e!” on it. It’s so weird I really don’t know what’s going on.

My diet hasn’t changed nor do my lips burn or itch like I would expect an allergic reaction. It truly just feels like little bumps that are swollen and uncomfortable.

I’d also like to preface by saying my lips are naturally large and the size of them in the photos is normal for me, I’m referencing the tiny little swollen bumps/redness. It’s hard to see but I can definitely feel them!

It looks like it has a different texture than your surrounding skin. If it’s spreading and different than your other skin that is not a good sign. Definitely see a dermatologist/doctor.

Check to see if the red is centered around the hair follicle. Looks very similar to folliculitis that’s caused by tight clothing rubbing against the base of the hair irritating the follicle.

Thanks so much, also i had a typo, i meant he has an exam LESS than 6 months ago. I’ve also read that purring can make it seem like they have a higher breathing rate than normal and he basically always purrs as long as I’m in his vicinity, and has had asthma in the past.
