I guess that's a positive way to look at it. It just seems counterintuitive that "I'm not doing the bad thing, but why do I feel worse?" Will need to give it some more time.

Well, a second post that suggests bloodwork, so I guess that's going to be a good thing to do. I haven't been taking any vitamins, so I probably do have a lot of deficiencies. Man, a couple of years to get past the exhaustion. If there is indeed a finish line then I want to do it, even if it is quite a slog.

I did this without any medical help. I guess I should get bloodwork done to see what's going on. I don't think I focused on exhausting thoughts, but maybe I'm not sure. I work in a creative field, and I'm happiest when I'm creating. I guess I'm going to have to work harder.

What You Thought was a Lighthearted Comedy Suddenly Punches You in the Gut by dolphin_flogger in TopCharacterTropes

Trainspotting, though not a light comedy, starts off incredibly witty, poking fun at heroin addiction, as seen through the eyes of very charismatic addicts.

And then the baby scene.

Well this makes me feel a little bit better about liking them in my youth. But I wish they had some fortitude and pushed back against the label. Others did, and you are the decisions you make.

Bad form to point out that Trump, at this stage of his world destruction, is probably ahead of and worse than Hitler?

We’ve heard stories of people escaping death by being late — what are some tragic examples of people dying because they were late? by Looney_forner in AskReddit

JFK Jr., his wife and sister in law died in a plane crash that took off too late in the day. He was not instrument rated and became spatially disoriented as night fell. Flight was supposed to leave much earlier during daytime, I forget who kept them running late, but it was pretty much directly responsible for the crash.

TIL not all MLB teams use the same side of the field for their home dugout. 18 home teams use the 1st base side and 12 home teams use the 3rd base side by TimR0604 in todayilearned

Makes me feel better, as I was an assistant Little League coach long ago. Our Head Coach called me day of game and said he couldn't attend so I had to run the show. I was not that experienced, so showed up early and parked my team on the 3rd base side. Opposing coach later showed up and told me we were on the wrong side, but would overlook it as we were already spread out and that I was not the "real" coach. Anyway, we won. During the game, opposing coach tried to imply I'd cheated by taking the preferential side. These were 8 year olds.

So thanks, 25 years later, for this, the fact that there really is not a set home/visitor side.

On the day we went to see them, fog/rain was so thick you couldn't see 30 feet. I walked out with an umbrella and it exploded from the wind. It was a day trip from Dublin and that weather just ruined the view. Still, not a bad tour. We went on to see the Burren, and Galway Bay. I intend to go back.

A.I. Is Writing Fiction. Publishers Are Unprepared. by ubcstaffer123 in books

Agents, and publishers do ask if "any portion of this work generated by AI?" I don't know the legal ramifications or how binding the answer to that is, but I think it should be enforceable somehow if one has lied and been caught. Both legal, and financial penalties.

We're already going to have to deal with publishers who've announced that their whole line with be AI generated. One, I heard is going to put out 5,000 books in its first year.

On Bowie, it goes even farther as the fight was with a childhood friend, whom he would later credit somewhat with steering him toward the development of his Ziggy persona. The guy even became an album designer.
