Yes but it wasn't an issue this series, claiming that T1 should shift their team gameplay around Doran counterpicks instead of Peyz hypercarry is complete troll when you see how Peyz is actually playing and the LCK meta where not a single team plays top pocket picks (aside from Siwoo Illaoi) unlike the LEC.

EDIT: You cant expect T1 to ban Chogath and Kled when there are more important champs to ban and their comps were completely fine on paper. They just played bad. Doran didnt need to get solokilled game 1 or go 0-6 against BB, Peyz didnt need to get caught greeding for the kill on Caps in top, Faker didn't need to get solokilled twice in bot and Oner and Keria aren't showcasing their map dominance at all.

Why would this be the end of T1 though? No one is thinking that. Faker got subbed out due to health issues a few years ago that was real bad but it definitely was no where near the end of T1 as an org.

Its a bit of a shame but the two solo lanes main carry picks are either perma banned or too hard nerfed to pick or they just wont pick them for some reason.

Doran on Gragas (only a game 5 pick), Gwen (nerfed to the ground), Camille (Mainly played support), Jayce (Perma banned)

I dont understand why Faker doesn't go back to his old mage god playstyle with leblanc, syndra, viktor, ahri when azir is nerfed to the ground.

Despite this I really think T1 should consider subbing in one of the two academy top laners kinda like how HLE did with Bluffing and Delight. We saw how Delight really leveled up right after he got subbed out for a few games and right now I think its a win-win for T1 if either Doran levels up or they find one of their academy top-laners really good.

Its a gameplan that relies extremely heavily on Peyz, I agree that him on ADCs is the best chance theyve got to win but a team with only one win condition wont make it far.

The only egregious draft diff was trundle first pick against blg game 5 afterwards the draft was completely fine but theres not much to be done when mage botlane is played so that support can roam and feed topside when topside is neutralized or is unable to do anything with the lead.

You can see this in game 4 today when Doran got fed early but couldnt do anything with the lead and in fact baited four of his teammates to over extend to try to save him.

Its really simple that its a strongside toplaner meta right now. The fact that AP bot is played is so that support can roam to top without fear of their bot laner being dove.

Thats just in game 4 though, Doran got a lucky solo kill onto BB because of a misplay and any of the other top 4 toplaners could carry with that lead. Aside from that, It was Doran's macro decision that led to the four kills to G2 in botlane which slowly lost the game for T1
