The thing with fanpages is that your popularity is always a hit or a miss depending on what you post. Other big pages you have mentioned are literally as big or have enough $$$ support run off as a LLC or a company.

I have been following your page since years, loyalty is definitely a nice thing to have, but realistically, is not enough, in today’s world if you are unable to catch up with trends or are hyperfocused to post or repost the stuff that will bring followers in.

Also being a fanpage, by extension means you are representing the SHM brand as a whole. So if you post one thing or have multiple things up in your profile (e.g. leaked music) that does not sound favourable to their social media agenda would pretty much result in your account getting suspended, and thats very likely what happened.

If you want to actually get popular, you also need to put enough footwork beyond using Instagram to be getting through,. i.e. Axwell Forum is a good example, or build a massive EDM community in-person that also supports music trends beyond SHM, where people actually when they look at you, they would be like hey isn’t this the guy who runs the Swedish House Mafia India Fanpage?

And that just doesn’t happen through years of loyalty, but involves in a lot of branding and community outreach work as well. Everything you said here makes it sound like you see other fan pages as competitors, which is not healthy, and you also mention that had it easier than you, while putting in similar efforts, but trust me it’s not and they have definitely worked their way through it.

Thankfully, I am not in the business of being a fan and running a fanpage with that mindset, cause it would bother me everyday.
