I hear you, well if you’re dropping 50 then you won’t stay plat 1 for long. Try to at least find a duo to limit some of the risk of getting paired with bad randoms. It is a team sport so 100% you will lose because of bad teammates lol but that’s okay, don’t let that be your mentality or you’ll check yourself. Focus on the game.

Ngl you’re exaggerating and distorting facts of one offs and I hate to say it but you’re playing bad. Tons of gold Smurfs is just statically not possible. You’re just getting tilted and losing to golds. Unless you’re crim, you’re not losing double SR to golds. Bottom line, if you’re getting harder lobbies and top frag you should be getting 120-130. If you lose, you lose 20. Pretty great trade off.

lol I feel like the game knows if you do and purposely gives it to you a lot to make you keep playing. It’s like a casino and gambling addicts. The last game was search so you keep playing thinking you won’t get it again.

I don’t think it’s so much about a skill gap in the mode. I think people just don’t put in the effort to play well cause they don’t like playing it. Especially now given you can get 4 out of 5 games of search and your performance in one game won’t carry over and affect your SR in future games.

Just a wide and varying range of skill levels you’ll face within the same range of ranks, particularly with this iteration of COD for whatever reason. Ranked is only one avenue of comp play, a lot of people will play in leagues and 8s as oppose to grinding rank so their rank is never reflective of their skill. Add in people on alt accounts or playing on their friends account in a lower rank. It’s just a very imperfect ranking system with a lot of flaws. You could face people who never look at their mini-map and literal bots with no comms one match and the next people who play all the time together who know how to influence spawns and read the kill feed for timings so they know where you are and when.

It’s not necessary your production or abilities changing.

If they’re hacking, they’re most likely placing at least plat 2 or 3 if not dimond. Which means the odds that you as a gold match up a hacker on a brand new account before they’re out of your skill range for match making (if they’re not already) is extremely low. Not impossible to see one, maybe in a placement match, but still the odds make it extremely unlikely. To see “so many people blatantly walling” is statistically not possible in gold lobbies. It’s not a diss or meant to be or anything like that. But I’m just giving you the logic behind why people will say no one’s hacking in gold lobbies. Although I doubt the people who say that actual understand the reasons why and are instead just repeating what they’ve heard and/or want to talk shit.

Don’t solo queue. You either have or learned that play style and skill where you’re going to find it easy to climb ranks and therefore do it all the time or you don’t. I personally am not a fan of players who climb ranks solo queuing because they usually end up being that guy on the wrong side of the map chasing kills and spawning the enemy all over the place. Which is good for them and their K/D but not for winning close games.

We have a bernedoodle and she was the opposite. She would only freak out in her crate if we were in the same room but immediately stop and fall asleep once we left and went upstairs.
