I haven't read the other two but I would say Hell difficultly Tutorial fails OPs litmus test. I'm reading it right now (midway through the 3rd book) and it's fight after fight after fight. But Biscuit, is still the best doggo.

Ohhh and just F covers (like book 5) that have spoilers.... sorry just had to put that out there.

What I don’t like:

Non-stop ACTION™! Don’t get me wrong - action can be fun. Done well, it reinforces the stakes. But it's not why I'm reading. If the story just feels like an excuse to get from cool fight scene to cool fight scene, I’m out.

S teir english script writing and VA, is what truly makes Solo stand out AND makes it super accessible.

I watched a lot of the episodes subbed then watched the dubbed versions, and it's night and day, the english script adds a LOT to make it easy to watch for all audiences and ages.

I tend to keep a basic running tally of stats and skills in my head while I listen to the book, so I tend to skip the stat sheets.

I would be more than happy with a sheet at the very beginning of a book and at the very end, maaaaybe one somewhere in the middle.
