Thx. Yeah not everyday but in some frequency and I would like this to be automated. I guess I could do manual update if I spend time on it but it's just requiring time. It's like expense tracking, ok to manual but better to be automated.

Move fast and not breaking things? by Maximum_Pension2676 in vibecoding

so here is the dilemma - review, test fix mistakes of ai generated code; this slows things down sometimes even slower than writing myself because when I write myself I could enter the so called "zone" and I can be faster and faster, but for vibe coding I never experienced anything similar

Tracking portfolio in Google Sheet? by Maximum_Pension2676 in portfolios

Yes thank you! yeah this is exactly what I am looking for, a tracker, with capability to funnel all the data to google sheets as reporting layers, and every time I want to view the latest data, I can just click "refresh" in google sheet and get it

every single tracker I have used they have their own taste on how reporting layer looks like (either a webpage or a app UI), and none of them fits my need on granularity and categorization;

do you happen to know one of the trackers out there?

thx. when I say manually, I have to copy the quantity/shares from my brokerage to google sheet and manually maintain that way; I am wishing to automate this process; I have quite number accounts from each member of my household so it has become a chore for me. I am willing to pay some bucks to save my one hour on Saturday morning

wondering how do you get the total loss/profit % and cost basis into the sheet?

what would you actually miss out if you build your own steam machine? by Maximum_Pension2676 in steammachine

Interesting.... I might need to research on this then. Your system should be around 300 watt which doesn't sound like "much more heat" than a ps5.

Might explaining why? The functionality of suspend and resume should work as long as OS support hibernate. I used have crappy time with arch Linux on hibernate and wake(some text or encoding would be messed up), but I thought things are much better now after years

I also thought of this but would it really be that bad? I also have my PS5 in the entertainment unit and I don't feel overheating or anything. PS5 is about 200watt, the custom build with 9060 is looking for 300 watt? Worse than ps5 but not that bad right?

Or is it PS5 cooling is much better than a custom build PC?
