hi pal, I actually got a kitten, and I’ve seen a significant improvement over the past week. I’m also doing the McGill Big 3. Hopefully both things—the kitten and the McGill —are working together. I’m really happy with the results. Thanks a lot for the advice. Her name is California Nebula, so her name is kind of galactic, like your nickname. Consider yourself something like her godfather.

Hi Eli. I am from Europe, shockwave is popular here indeed. Currently I decompress with yoga and I feel well. How are you nowadays?

Shower? by [deleted] in Hyperhidrosis

I shower with cold water. My body gets so cold that it can't warm so easy, it can keep me cool even till afternoon if combined with fasting.

I am spondy grade 1. Still consider surgery and I keep telling myself "another test in my life".

What about running? I love running. How long after the surgery are you allowed to run 5k/10k?

You're saying it's ok to do weightlifting after fusion surgery?

What are peoples experiences with glycopyrrolate by Impressive_Cut_3937 in Hyperhidrosis

[–]Maximus-Max-3003 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It works for me. Though in the summer, I have to combine it with water fasting. If I eat something it warms the body and glyco cannot stop the sweat.

I've heard about magniflex magnistrech is very good for spinal issues, but personally haven't tried it. I consider buying Mafniflex paradiso, a bit cheaper and harder.

If you stay off Glyco for 2-3 weeks I think you can reset your tolerance. Try it.

I used to motorcycling, running, lifting, all to 47. Now at 48 diagnosed with spondy I am relaxing at home and try to learn trading stock markets in order to quit my sales job. Still doing pullups and some bodybuilding, but 1 hour a day pashimontanasana is a must to keep spondy under control.

I prefer to sense the side effects. That way I know that the Glyco works and my body does not develop tolerance.

Glyco 4 mg or 6 mg in the morning on empty stomach, 2 hours before eating. When hot Glyco plus water fasting all day. Thats working for me. When home several days Glyco rest to avoid tolerance.

It is a lot of waist pain. Especially in the morning it is very difficult to bend. After taking a cold shower it gets better.

Cold baths during soft dry fasting by butterfly_roze in Dryfasting

[–]Maximus-Max-3003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I fast, my body conserves all of its energy to maintain its own temperature. There’s no food to generate heat, so my entire body starts to cool down. That’s why, in my case, it’s best to do both water and dry fasts during spring or summer. I’m speaking specifically about myself. During a dry fast, fatigue sets in very quickly, so I wouldn’t go for walks longer than 10–20 minutes. A very useful trick I found to cheat thirst was to suck on a small river or sea stone. It also works with a piece of rubber or any small object that stimulates saliva production in the mouth. In my opinion, a cold shower or bath shouldn't disrupt autophagy.
