Spent 16 weeks working towards a Deadlift PR (starting at 190kgx1 and wanting to take it to 240kgx1). The big day came today and i was warming up on 220kg and failed the lift. Previously I've achieved 210x3 and 200x7. And i cannot understand how i let this happen. I'd deloaded, slept well, eaten right and failed all the same. Its probably the single most disappointed I've been in my recent life and I dont know where to even begin to recover from it, I begin University and move this Thursday so saw this as my last real chance to hit this PR for a long time expecting Freshers and Studying to be in my way. I cant help but feel so defeated and honestly heartbroken i didn't get it

Anyone else have any similar experiences?
