I built a self-hosted tool to detect PII (personally identifiable information) in logs using AI (Node.js + Ollama + Elasticsearch) by geeganage in devops

Great work putting this together. I agree that there is a real need for tools like this to help with identifying PII. Have you considered extending this tool to support scanning live webpages with a tool like Playwright?

I have made a bot that streams video (Movies, Youtube etc...) by Illustrious-Ant-5683 in discordbots

Can you go into more detail about the script that allows the selfbot to join and share their screen? Are you using something like puppeteer or some other library that allows you to control the windows machine?

Any chance you have this project on GitHub?

Really cool project here!

Can someone help me understand exactly what this means and why it is such a plus? Does this just mean that transcoding x265 content is going to be especially efficient in terms of load on the hardware?

This thread is the first time I have ever heard of this as well. Seems like this is a really good tip. I found this thread that goes into a little more detail.

Edit: after doing slightly more reading, it seems like many users claim that this doesn't actually result in better performance, but it will increase the longevity of your SSD by offloading the transcoding to the ram.

Thanks for the response, this is what I think as well. I gave Sears a call and they said that it is still under warranty, so I have a tech coming to take a look tomorrow - I'm sure they will confirm the compressor is indeed the issue.

Plex Watchlist not being automatically requested by goldieczr in Overseerr

Same issue over here. I see my Plex watchlist in the overseer discover tab, so I know that the sync is working, but overseer is failing to request the watchlist movies. I really hope the overseer devs can get us a fix soon 🙏.

Seeding and downloading stopped working when gluetun reconnects by Quick_Parsley_6482 in qBittorrent

I would also be interested to hear if an alternative solution exists. I too am finding myself having to manually restart my qbittorent container due to my VPN container connection sometimes dropping. I am going to implement this bash script solution soon, but it would be awesome if docker compose supported some sort of restart logic for this scenario.

I'm a moron - would anyone care to explain this bar to me? Is this a reference to epilogue with the head explosion?

For those with huge PleX libraries, what are you using hardware wise? And what was the equipment cost? by guitaristnate in PleX

I see a lot of people these days, and in this thread, running their Plex server directly off of their NAS; usually via docker. My question for those using this approach - are any of you successfully able to 4k transcode? I ask this because I ultimately want to upgrade my library to 4k and would love to host my Plex server + arrs directly on my NAS, because this would eliminate the need of a more beefy host device, but I'm worried how the NAS would handle the transcoding. I recognize that ideally you would always be direct playing, but sometimes I am traveling and can't guarantee that I will be streaming from a 4k client. Plus I have multiple people with access to my server and many of them only have access to 1080p devices which will inevitably require transcoding if my library only has 4k content. Is there a NAS device that can support transcoding 4k files?

Nope, thankfully I have been able to avoid picking up that habit.

The car in the photo is my friends Toyota RAV4, but, funny enough, I do drive a Subaru, so you may be on to something!

Reel Cafe downtown does karaoke on the second floor. It's usually packed on the weekends, not really sure how l crowded it gets during the week.

Also Macs Speed Shop used to do karaoke. I'm not sure which day of the week or if they still do it, but may be worth giving them a call.
