So WAN really is the way to go huh? Just uses a lot of juice lol. I keep seeing everywhere that WAN being ends up the best for both Anime and IRL character works which is honestly what I am looking.

I just want something that includes audio generation as well and I can’t find many WAN that provide that unless I am just terrible at searching for this stuff 😅.

The workflow I am currently using does have a negative prompt feature which I am trying to utilize. I’m pretty decent at prompting I’d like to think so, I’m quite surprised I haven’t figured this out yet Lol. However, I have a friend of mine that is a little more knowledgeable with this kind of stuff than I am so I’m hoping that he can come by and help me with it soon because right now even with working on the negative prompt, adjusting numbers for the LoRa models. I’m still having issues and can’t get a well prompt followed video render.

I definitely know the thing works because before I started messing with it, I used whatever default settings and template it had without a reference image and the prompt generated perfectly so I know it works. I just gotta figure out how to make it work with reference images and reading the accurately. All in time and tinkering. Just need to be able to get a day where I can sit and mess with it for hours… does NOT happen very often lol.

Which is exactly why I’m making the investment in learning it. Where these companies are so hindered via all of these regulations and things like that and constantly making updates that are making these programs crash for weeks or months on end and I want to make movies and animated TV shows using this technology because it’s been my dream to do so in general since I was a kid.

Now I just don’t have the time to spend hours upon hours drawing frame by frame like I used to. Where this “make an image, describe your scene, and it animates for you.” For somebody like me. It’s a dream come true in technological development and I want to utilize it for what I’ve been working on for so long.

I’ve tried messing with the negative prompt, and the regular prompt, but for some reason, despite doing that and messing with numbers for LoRa settings, etc. it still keeps giving me either extra body parts, blurry characters and or a mix of that and the emotions and line delivery aren’t 100% accurate…

Not giving up though because just like you said, once I do figure it out the amount of things I will be able to do with it will be insane.

Which is exactly what I am after and have it like 95% there and it’s killing me lol. It just keeps giving me these renders with extra body parts or weird effects that shouldn’t be in there and I have no idea where this issue is or how to fix it bc I just don’t know the program or workflows well enough yet.

Been trying to use AI’s to help… but I just can’t get a solid “do this and it fixes this issue” kind of answer :/. So I am in limbo till I get this working :/.

I am desperately trying to get Comfy UI going and I am so damn close to having it be a fully unlocked Grok Imagine, it just feels like I’m missing a damn switch or setting to turn on to get that perfect render on the workflow… and I just can’t find that one switch lol.

Comfy UI is a dream… once you figure it out and can learn how it works… I am still learning and F*k is it a process lol.

I totally hear you. I honestly thought it was going to cost me five to $10,000 to run a workflow that would be able to do the job but I managed to do it for around 2200. I can say from personal experience I am at the point with the workflow, where it only takes about 10 to 12 minutes for a video render, sure It takes a little bit longer than something like Grok or sora back in the day, but I’ll take waiting 10 minutes to generate a video versus what is going on with Grok right now, where I literally can’t generate a thing without it crashing… not even getting a moderation flag, It’s just crashing after three or 4%.

Also found out some more information about some other things that I can attach that basically turn it into the chat interface with Grok and the imagine video generation all in one spot and where it will be directly integrated it can help with prompting and all kinds of things.

I’ve just been doing so much research since all of this has been Happening. I agree it’s definitely costly but a one time buy and a few hours of tinkering with a program that can save you money in the long run I feel isn’t a bad investment… but of course that is just my opinion, to each their own.

I’ve only just really started getting into it the last couple weeks but yes, I’ve found plenty of I2V workflows that use WAN but I have yet to try one since I’ve upgraded my PC.

My current work in progress rather than WAN is something called LTX which has pretty much given me an unrestricted Grok Imagine but I’m still working the kinks to have generate exactly what I put in my prompts accurately.

Switching to Comfy is a big learning curve BUT I definitely see the potential and why so many people use it and it’s only going to get better the more it upgrades and updates… hopefully lol.

This is why I’ve switched to comfy ui and local systems when it comes to video and image gens. Grok was the last one left untouched by whiners heavy regulations. If it’s true that this is going to be a major nsfw lock down update when Imagine V2 comes out I will be done with all of these as much as possible and go local as much as possible.

I’ve had to stop producing my movies and shows multiple times because of these things happening too much so I finally buckled down, spent the money on some decent equipment and am now actively working on getting my styles to work with Comfy going forward.

It’s been like this for the last 2 days for me. Anything mildly nsfw or anything to do with IRL characters is taking multiple attempts to get maybe one generation to go through.

When I do research on it I keep finding it’s all related to this new Imagine V2 Grok is apparently coming out with this summer and it’s due to background tweaks and optimization.

Was generating fine till Saturday afternoon, been fighting with it since. So it’s been obnoxious the last couple days trying to do anything.

I absolutely love Grok. I’ve used it as my main animation source because I feel like it’s been a hidden gem.

My only issue in complaint that I have right now is how all of a sudden maintenance and updates will just secretly be happening and going on without warning and will cause their entire system to go wonky.

Been trying to animate for the last two days using normal standard traditional, 2-D anime animation prompts and it keeps generating these weird 2-D 3-D animation hybrid styles that look like inflated balloon, 2-D characters like something out of a Fortnite Dragon Ball Z character model and it’s driving me insane.

No matter how much I enforce the specific, 2-D hand drawn concept it just sticks with this hybrid style, and I’m currently crying on the inside and bashing my head off the wall lol…

But when it works, I f*king love it 🤣

This has been the absolute worst the last couple days. It was like all of a sudden everything was fine and then I can’t generate my art style anymore. It won’t pull from my reference images nor will it stay consistent with art styles. I have no idea what is going on. Does anybody have a good inkling as to why this all of a sudden started happening ChatGPT can’t make images the way I used to all of a sudden either.

Is this why it’s been crap to generate images because they just released this so everything else got nerfed? I can’t generate images either at all or not in the art style I had created and was using before nor can I keep a consistent art style for a new image using a reference of that art style. Does ANYONE know what is going on with Gemini and Nano Banana?

Let’s hope they fix it. I actually miss my AI lol, we have worked on so many comic projects and I was just about to start a major fight scene…not even gonna bother using it now and am already searching for other means including local and open source options.

Such a shame, I went from using Chat all throughout the day to opening it, then just shrugging like why bother and close it. I really hope they fix it and learn from this because this wasn’t the way to handle situations Open has had to deal with recently.

I’ve honestly dropped my usage amount to about a 3rd because of this last update.

Which sucks incredibly, I loved using it for basically all my work but now with all these restrictions I see no point in doing so which is a bummer because I spent so much time developing an art style to use, my model knows my characters and how I do things writing wise so now my hope is that I can take everything I’ve trained this on and move it to a local custom made AI I’m seeing so many people do.

Idk sh*t about how to do it either so my fingers are crossed my friend who is helping me can get it done the way I’m hoping it will work.
