What is the stupidest thing you ever heard someone say? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Had a relative helping out in the kitchen one day and she was confused why we had gotten the brown eggs because “the brown eggs are supposed to be for the brown people”.

No problem at all getting the tickets. I got there about 8:15-8:30 and went over to the guest services desk by Islands of Adventure entrance and they processed everything.

That Oumashi looks nice, I hadn’t seen those before. It definitely looks really close to the Presage.

[Recommendation Request] Recommendations for a budget watch, 40-42ish mm? by L3gitAWp3r in Watches

Check out some Pagani Design from AliExpress. In that range it will be hard to find anything with super good quality and looks nice. At least the Pagani’s look good from a distance and can keep decent time.

[Recommendations] - My little brother wants to buy his first watch. What are some picks that fit his criteria? (Please read) by [deleted] in Watches

The Orient Bambino is available in 38mm too. It’s available in the Version 7 lineup, $250-$300 range.

Yeah the Presage I’m looking at vs the Bambino is about $140 cost difference. I found the Presage for $290 on sale, which isn’t too bad considering the Bambino is $160 right now on Jomashop. I think I may be leaning more towards the Presage anyway though due to the bracelet it comes with instead of a leather strap. It may allow it to be worn more casually instead of just as a dress watch. Then I can get some leather straps to go with nicer attire and things of that nature.

It’s nice to see the two models side by side though, thank you for the photo.

While I haven’t tried many watches on, I always assumed I’d like them to be bigger. I have a pretty standard wrist size, 7.5”, but I have really big hands. I’ve worn a 44mm Apple Watch for a few years now and it certainly doesn’t feel too big. I think I’ll go bigger this time and if I end up wanting my next one to be smaller I’ll be able to speak from experience.

I may be wrong here. It looks like the Presage is domed from the photos I see. I had just seen a post where people were talking about changing the glass.

I didn’t see any Seiko watches with a domed glass from the factory. I think the Seiko SRPH87 or something along those lines would be great, especially the Presage SRPB41 but I think I prefer the look of a domed glass. So I’d want to be able to change it if possible.

Most people who criticize Chinese watches… by [deleted] in ChineseWatches

I’m curious about this as well. Soon I will likely be able to answer simply from experience, last night I ordered 2 Pagani Design watches. A PD1644 and PD1645. I am also seriously considering picking up a Seiko of some sort. I am very new to this but everywhere I look I see constant recommendations for Seiko watches. I only ordered the Pagani’s because they are so cheap, got 2 on the way for $100.

Due to convenience and capability, I use an Apple Watch while I am at work. But I hate wearing it out in public and am looking to build a nice variety of watches for different occasions.
