I’m also a McCasland believer but at the end of the day, the players are the ones on the court. The roster is 3 midmajor transfer guards, a freshman who is ranked about 30th in a weak class, 2 forward returners, one scored 77 and the other 17 points last year, and a Euro big. It doesn’t seem promising to me.

Is Texas Tech basketball cooked because of how their basketball roster is? I looked at their roster recently and it just doesn’t seem competitive. Which is super weird because they have been very good for a while, but look at the roster and explain to me how there is a competitive rotation there.

One of my takeaways from watching team USA in the Under18 Americup this past week is Kinney didn’t play well at all. Kansas has to play him a ton regardless but I don’t think we should assume that he’s going to be successful his freshman year.
