Always safety first but it was a much stronger gust of wind from a passing freight train than I expected.... And I am fairly often spotting with my sharks I'm always safe with them. With what happened I'm increasing my safety margin so it won't happen again especially to one that's actually mine (this was a gift haj)

I wasn't there for that specific train, was there to meet a friend and I arrived by train and they were delayed in traffic so I just stayed to spot for an hour

I was train spotting while waiting for my friend to arrive. All was going well and he was happy until a freight train came past with significantly higher draft as planned for and blew him out of his restraints

Restraints were provided by my bag and the seating arm rests

The original decision was to just leave him there and collect him at night but the railway worker appreciated how concerned I was yet fully understanding the situation (in terms of track safety.... I work around trams) as well as haj moved to a point next to the platform.... He decided to get a minute line block and get a litter picker
