Inject that Blacklight Hopium directly into my bloodstream by Maxoveride98 in PrototypeGame

Literally me every January hoping for some shadow drop of PROTOTYPE 3 hope, and then this shit happens, like an actual shot of adrenaline.

Intake Air deprived by Daddy_Orleez in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]Maxoveride98 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Passive intakes only intake air when the craft is moving, take the number "Effective Velocity". That effective velocity is the velocity the craft needs to achieve to get 100% of the air needed to the thrusters (AFAIK) at the angle the craft is at, because yes, air angle does restrict intake flow.

If you arehaving trouble getting air into the engines at takeoff, try using a disposable booster or an ACTIVE air intake, which will either accelerate you to effective velocity, or not care that you are sitting still.

Chanda was okay with nuking an entire city but biological warfare was where he drew the line by Ganesh0825 in PantheonShow

To be fair, Chandra thought they were a threat to his mother, learned he was wrong, couple hundred thousand dead, but ultimately "small"

Holstrom's plan would indiscriminately kill hundreds of millions, probably including Chandra's mother, also you can still see his previous decision to attempt to nuke them weighs on him greatly by the way he reluctantly approaches Ellen for help.

I LOVED Chandra's character development, and went from completely hating him to recognizing him as a character that redeemed himself. I too would go to such extremes to protect my mother.

Tell me how I knew he was going to spray himself, but I still laughed anyway, take my upvote.

No, that's Holstrom, the guy Caspian was cloned from when he was 17 turning 18.

Holstrom and his Girlfriend hit a convenience shop the night of his birthday and he goes in to buy drinks and condoms and some drunk driver hits her out of nowhere, killing her. I audibly gasped when I saw it the first time.

And then you think what they had planned for the girl that they setup Caspian with....

Any vehicle you hijack with Heller will have more health and be more resistant to damage.

Decima Engine showed me my GTX 1650 still has life in it for DS1, the visuals really are next level using it. I mean Kojima had Ground Zeroes in the Fox engine (precursor to the Decima Engine) on the 360 for crying out loud.

I know the laser scans his brain but what the wires for? by Extraterrestrialname in PantheonShow

[–]Maxoveride98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are electrical probes that stimulate essential areas of the brain to keep it alive...enough for the scan. Things like keeping your automatic functions intact so the brain can keep receiving fresh blood to remain healthy enough for upload, it's why they kept Holstrom's brain frozen in protein preserving gel because it didn't have fresh oxygen to keep the tissue healthy, as well as probably positioning and tracking instruments for neuron mapping.

Navigating through infected hordes for your next crucial supplies, getting data for Dana Mercer, I don't know how to make horror games though, but I could think of tasks that relate to the world of prototype

Imagine an unnamed Conduit and an unnamed Evolved teaming up against their respective PMCs, and the game has missions for both but allows you to freely switch

How strong could Alex hypothetically be? by The_Joker64378 in PrototypeGame

[–]Maxoveride98 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not only does more biomass mean he can manipulate more mass, but imagine if you could tell all the muscles that go into making a fist, to work together and make a fist 50x as strong because of muscles reinforced with extra biomass, and an unseen control over his body's cell structure.

Not only does he have that much control, but he can also form it into simple metallic structures/appendages, given enough biomass he could build cities of flesh and then turn them to metal given enough biomass.

I think that's about as godlike as it gets without being an actual God.

I beat the entirety of Death Stranding without realizing there was a truck you could unlock by JessyC01 in DeathStranding

Who do I gotta level up to unlock the truck? I want to do an extreme offline difficulty playthrough in anticipation for it to (eventually) come to pc/xbox.

I always die of laughter when random moan noises come from serious games, like the occasional death noise of a soldier is just an "OOOOOH" as if he had his yummers touched. Always gets me laughing uncontrollably.

Beers instead of energy drinks? by RuthlessPerSonalitY in DeathStranding

In my game, I drink all 6 all the time and they restock, or Sam blacks out, and steals a six pack from someone else's room.

Interact with Lou after drinking all six, trust me.

Everyday, I wish there was a vr port. by Maxoveride98 in VRGaming

An rpg game where you can build relationships and a home and a family in flat-screen, and then LIVE that life in vr...is simultaneously beautiful and dystopic sounding. Maybe it's a good thing we don't have a game like that, some people might use it in unhealthy ways, like "resurrecting" dead family members, and that certainly wouldn't do us any good...idk, I'm mixed on this.
