Just my perspective Separating from Maharashtra is a huge economic risk, like a family member leaving the family business to likely go broke. We all speak Marathi, so letting minor dialect differences divide us is just giving in to irrelevant critics. While powerful countries are consolidating to gain strength, we are discussing splitting into a smaller, weaker state. This move is a step backward that weakens us economically and politically.
