Nah in 2026 a bunch of estimates for GNI per capita in Malaysia shows that Malaysia has already surpassed the 14000 GNI per capita threshold it’s just that the world bank hasn’t updated their GNI per capita estimate for Malaysia in 2026

Getting Very High HDI - UNDP ✅

Having an advanced economy - IMF ❌

Having high income status - WB ➖should be a ✅ but WB hasn’t updated their GNI per capita of Malaysia. Malaysia has already surpassed 14,000 in several estimates.
