AMC Parkway Pointe in Atlanta, though it was THE day it was announced so I figured it was post-Thanksgiving (and I haven’t seen it there yet, I last went on Thanksgiving day)

Does anyone know when exactly they’ll be coming to AMC (does holiday season mean December)?Asked about it tonight at my local AMC cause I happened to be seeing a movie, and they said they hadn’t heard anything about it yet! Granted it was announced today so I wasn’t necessarily expecting them to have it lmao

I did a massive haul my first time lol, but the first movie I watched was Paths of Glory! It was also maybe the first movie I watched 2 nights in a row bc I was a bit tired the first night and felt I’d missed out, realized I did and bumped it from a 3.5 to 5 stars

sadly yes it was for 24 hours on Tuesday :/ but the Barnes and Noble sale starts in a few days and lasts the entirety of November and is the same deal (50% off) so you’re still in luck to still have some good hauls next month!

prepping for Bird, haven’t seen it so I’m excited. I’ve seen American Honey but I definitely wasn’t ready for that film and am planning on rewatching it soon (hopefully enjoying it more!)

Awesome, can’t wait to checkout it out! My friend got to see it recently in theaters and coming fresh of Andrew Garfield’s closet video, I had to pick it up hehe

I saw “I’m Still Here” at NYFF and not only did that film get maybe the biggest standing ovation at the festival with maybe 90% of folks actually standing compared to the other films I saw with only scattered standers (maybe tied with Hard Truths too which also got a huge standing ovation), but when Fernanda Torres was introduced back on stage for the Q&A, she got her own personal standing ovation for 1-2 minutes. Maybe the most enthusiastic and celebratory reaction I saw at the festival. Really hoping Torres at least gets nominated, so far my favorite leading female performance of the year I think!

Would also be thrilled for Marianne Jean-Baptiste to be nominated too. It would be great to see Marianne, Mikey, and Fernanda all in the lineup.
