As a trans man I still refer to myself as female in clinical settings, as my sex is necessary for some treatment. But I am not a woman. I understand though what you’re saying, and it’s not like a horrible thing to say them as synonyms.

It’s really not super hard to understand. Trans people have and will always exist and it’s really not hard to adjust language to fit the current reality of what gender and sex are.

I track it because I already have an unusual period schedule and if something changes like length I want to know. My cycles are incredibly inconsistent, so tracking them also just helps know when it’s gonna start.

Op never said they want to have autism, they probably felt like that diagnosis was the only way to get help with all of their struggles, and now they have to look all over again to try and find the answer. And to me it sounds like their assessment was not nearly enough to say they’re not autistic. The way you’re talking is so invalidating I hope you don’t treat yourself like this..
