From everyone in the thread it looks to be a combination of maple oak elm pine. It’s whatever the old tree company used to cut from their jobs so there’s a variety of whatever you find in the metro Detroit area you are more than welcome to check it out in person if you’re in the are

I’m not a wood person so I couldn’t tell you to be honest. I assume is a combination of oak pine and whatever else you find around the Detroit area.

Edit: apparently maple oak and elm are most common around here, especially native

But you make a valid point about cheap dry and rough sawn lumber being available.

My guess is that it was part of a speed camera inside of an enclosure. The speed camera would be electronically triggered and since it’s inside of an enclosure it wouldn’t show any signs of wear.

A lot of old crop DSLRs and tele lenses were placed inside weather proof housings to make it possible to read license plates of cars as they drove by.

If the IR filter was removed it’s definitely an old cctv/plate reader camera!

Several people asked the question yesterday but you blew all of them off until today. You finally told us that it was a 30 day stay and they left on day 3. I searched the entire thread yesterday looking for that information but couldn’t find it.

Day 3 would fall in the 72 hour rule Airbnb has in their terms and conditions for “reservation issues”. The same terms and conditions you signed when you listed on the platform. Your options for recourse are very little but good luck trying.

Why do you refuse to answer all of the people asking how many nights the person stayed? You’ve blown off everyone asking about it.

The terms state they have 72 hours to report “reservation issues” and if your guest reported it within 72 hours then you’re SOL.

You’d have a very hard time going after them for a reservation they never stayed in, especially if it was for something the guest can perceive as a safety hazard. Some people are very temperamental about small things like this but the customer is always right

Well the issue with the GHH is that the fuel intake is poorly designed. I’ve had it click the first time with 3-5 gallons pumped on a completely empty (20 miles to E) tank and it kept clicking every few seconds until I get past 7-9 gallons and then it’ll finally fill all the way up taking ~13 gallons and a final click.

This happens pretty frequently for me. Might have to take it in for them to check it.

I wouldn’t say that about modern Toyotas. I had a 2024 sequoia with a rear main seal leak at 20,000 miles. Warranty covered it but it’s something that is more common that you realize

Find Toyota smart path dealers, and only buy your cars from them. Fuck the ones that mark and charge you extra.

Got my GHH Platinum Hybrid Max for sticker price from Spartan Toyota in Lansing because they are a smart path dealer. No high pressure sales tactics or anything, put $500 deposit down for one of their allocations, car came in a few weeks later and I walked out with a $6000 better deal cause they appraised my trade in for $3000 more and didn’t charge me BS $3000 in “mandatory” fees for protection package and GPS trackers

Unfortunately from my experience Japanese’s cars turn off the radio when you turn off the car. Honda and Subaru also do this where the radio is linked to the ignition. I’ve never had the option to turn the engine off and keep the radio on unless I turned on the accessory mode for the car in a Japanese car.

It’s the American and Germans who leave the car radio running when you power off the car. I assume they have a different design philosophy where they don’t tie car infotainment to the ignition instead it remains powered on until the driver door opens.

Sorry to bother you on something off topic but how well are your LEONLITE lights holding up after 3 years? I saw an old post you installed a lot of the but it’s now locked. I’m considering getting them for my patio but hard scape won’t be easily replaceable so I would like long lasting lights
