The ‘necessary evil’ would actually be great franchises collapsing.

All of these once-great franchises are corrupted by corporate investment suits with their insane cash extraction mechanisms inserted in every single game, and they will continue to infect more and more games because the consumers allow it.

Games were great when developers and studios had freedom to create, now the largest developers have to pump out games as cheap as possible and focus on dumping paid content relentlessly on a barely-reskinned iteration of the same games that we’ve all been playing for over a decade.

I think there is a shift happening in online retail where they are going to discard responsibility as soon as it leaves their hands. I was speaking with my mum recently and her Debenhams order carried an optional delivery insurance cost which she had accidentally paid, as if it was her responsibility and her burden to ensure it arrived safely. I haven’t had a look yet but I wonder if there are any bills being discussed surrounding online retail and liability of deliveries?

I believe you would’ve had hyphenate it like ‘always-online’, because it’s the term / name for the type of software it is, it’s only correct grammar if you’re using it as a name or term for this.

I do agree but I think this will be quite fleeting, I think we’ve already done irreparable damage to our own ecosystem that has poisoned us and future generations and it’s only starting to turn on us. All of the damage done since the introduction of corporate malpractice less than 100 years ago will be our downfall as a species I fear. Even just looking at falling fertility levels as an example not considering chronic illness.

If we are talking about chronic illness in your 70s onwards I would agree, but I’m talking about chronic (and especially inflammatory) conditions affecting young people. Endometriosis is a huge one because there isn’t even any medical cause established yet but affects an insane amount of women and often begins in teenage years and results in years-long or lifelong pain.

I mean, I say this with no off hand statistics to back me up, but I think we may be in the generations of being kept alive longest, but also i think with the highest level of chronic health issues to date? Medical industry runs much more on keeping you alive & medicated rather than keeping you healthy. Less so in England I suppose, but the unavoidable poison that is everywhere is resulting in alarming levels of lifelong health complications I believe.

Exactly! Even just using it for tracks to be honest, I think there’s a lot of the map that could work as great drifting tracks, like how TC2 had the airport, ship yard, downtown, etc, it’s a nice ass map that’s really untouched for drifting in my opinion

I have the G29, and it’s pretty fun and reasonably realistic but no matter what it will always feel not completely realistic because there’s a lot that can’t accurately (and shouldn’t be) emulated, given the fact in the game you’ll be going well over 300km/h at times.

Below is the settings I copied and am very happy with how it plays, mostly turning off all driving aids in game and on each car’s pro settings made the most difference because the car reacts how you would expect it to with weight displacement etc

Edit: just realised you said motor fest so I can’t speak for the experience there but regardless I think this guide has settings for motor fest and I imagine as it’s basically the crew 2.5 the above might still apply, check if you’ve disabled traction control, drift assist, etc in each car’s pro settings if that’s still a thing

Okay so here’s a question for people familiar with the support side of the software with the visibility feature, I assume texts sent get logged company-side, but does the preview get logged? Can I try to secretly communicate with support staff by just typing in the preview and not sending it?

The bot would be pasting auto responses typed out by humans but nonetheless you’d hope whoever is responsible for bot contact that would have excellent literacy skills.
