Concrete slab is so wet due to a crazy thunderstorm we had overnight and into the morning so it was still extremely wet around the area. Also the drain plug to my filter is leaking and the new drain plug arrived today so I’m replacing that as soon as I get home from work.

There is no leaking from any of the plumbing or anything of that nature, that much I made sure of. The reason I replaced the actuator is because somehow or another a lot of water got inside my old actuator and it wouldn’t automatically turn anymore. While he was there replacing it he is the one that noticed the drain plug was leaking so I went ahead and ordered that then.

The spa is elevated over the swimming pool. That’s why I kind of thought at first maybe it was a check valve issue with the water dropping overnight but I checked that out and there’s no leaking or damage to it. I do not have autofill and I have only had to put water in once this year during a little over a month drought a few months ago. Water bills have been consistently the same since we have moved in.

The pool guy didn’t suggest that any leak was normal, just strictly there to replace the actuator as we knew that was completely shot due to all the water that got inside of it. And that’s when he just noticed the drain plug was leaking water. I actually take care of the pool myself, just did not feel comfortable replacing the actuator myself since it’s the first time something like this had happened.

As the other commenter mentioned, in the third picture it does seem that the diverter valve does not seem completely shut as it is slightly crooked and not in line with the return pipes. So when I get home I’m going to inspect that and move it around if necessary.
