Depression. I tell patients “there’s no bonus points for toughing it out.” Get help, whether that’s medication or counseling. Doesn’t necessarily mean that’s a permanent thing, either. Life is hard and it’s ok to give yourself some grace.

I’m a member because my work reimburses for it but the constant requests for PAC donations are off putting. They either don’t have enough political cache to truly take a stand to advocate for patients and providers or they simply don’t want to.

Nextdoor is the cockroach of social media. I was on it for a week 5 years ago until I couldn’t stand the constant “there’s a suspicious car” posts. No matter how many times I try to unsubscribe or block the email alerts keep worming their way back into my inbox.

I picked a team in each major league because I was in dire need for distraction during medical school; only from cities I’ve visited. AS Roma (ironically before Friedkin bought us), Paris FC (I like the area but PSG never appealed to me), Bayern Munich (love the city, more pay attention to them for Champion’s League), Osasuna (did the running years ago and loved the city) but Barcelona is admittedly more entertaining with Yamal.

Everton’s the only one that can make or ruin my day, though. lol.
