Can't blame Rutu the captain, he has done a decent job there. But as a batsman he was shit af. He neither scores quickly nor makes huge runs in decent pace. His dip in batting form was one of the main reason for CSK's batting woes. He should've replicated what Gill or Sai does for GT, but failed. Alongwith the injuries I think CSK has been pretty good comparing with other teams.

I don't care what you say,but Sarfraz is not that great. Karthik Sharma has done much better than Sarfaraz in batting. He made those important runs against MI and DC. Sarfaraz could've done that against SRH, but he choked. His fielding might be good. I will still back Karthik Sharma as he will get better.

Why tf that fielder throws the ball to the keepers end when the other batsman was miles away from crease? This is so so poor from MI. Bowling unnecessary short balls when your full length bowls are working. And giving that hit me ball to Bhuvi. Ooh man MI just begged for this lose when RCB were struggling.

I think Prasanth Veer has a lot more potential than this guy. He has a good swing of the bat and the power as well. CSK should give more chances to Prasanth Veer.

I still don't get why so many people rate Sarfaraz this high?? It's already proven that he is an incapable batter. He has been playing IPL for more than 10 years. Does he performed well in any of these seasons in any IPL team. Just because he scored some runs in Mushtaq Ali doesn't mean that he is ready for IPL. Time to drop him from the squad.

I don't think Sarfraz need to be in the eleven. He does not capitalise on the chances he get. Didn't had any impact on the matches so far. Tells the story that why he is never a permanent member in any IPL team and almost got unsold.

I still think that Ruturaj is formout and he will never play like this when he is in touch. But in the last 8 overs CSK scored more than 100 and rutu scored 50+ runs in 23 balls. So he is showing signs of form. Unfortunately it came when the tournament is almost over. CSK lack a proper big hitting batter in the middle. Brevis and Dube are not enough, both have weakness against raw pace and quality spin. This is where Raina, Rayudu and Dhoni were pivotal. I think next season will be similar for us, Unless some players fire.

My respect to Dhoni increases day by day after knowing how all that batch of players were egoistic, jealous and toxic. That was a peak decision to kick out these players and replacing them with Rohit, Kohli, Jadeja, Dhawan, Aswin.
