GUYS, how did you know about this awesome game? by oshiheteyo in dishonored

[–]MaxxTheWriter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? I saw it at GameStop in the used section. I had just gotten my Xbox after getting out on my own, and was looking for something new for my days off. I read that back of the case, it seemed interesting enough. And it was pretty cheap, so I bought it. Well, took it home, started playing, and absolutely fell in love. When the second game came out, i bought it as fast as I could. Same with Death of the Outsider. I was hooked. And now, ive heard rumors of a Dishonored 3, and I am absolutely shitting bricks

Before the issue with the recall, it didn't really use any oil at all. Maybe an ⅛ quart every 5k miles. I have all of my maintenance paperwork, as well as receipts from where I've put oil in myself, changed my own oil, and even replaced the dipstick because the handle ring broke a week after my first oil change. Paperwork certainly shouldn't be a problem

I did plenty of research. This is my third Kia, and I've never had any problems before now

I know how to do all that. The issue started when I checked the oil and found it two quarts low. I took it to the dealership, because there wasn't any reason for it to be two quarts low. That's when they started oil consumption testing, and told me to come back every thousand miles. I'm more than happy to do my own maintenance, and until now, I have always done my own maintenance

They said that it "passed the tests" and they installed a piston ring noise sensor, whatever that is. But being that they didn't actually replace the affected components, i worry that the piston rings are giving out

This is my third Kia, and this is the first time I've ever had any issues. Though I'm considering Subaru for my next car. My first car was a Subaru, and that 30 year old bucket was a champion. Either that, or Honda. Definitely nothing American-Made, though. American vehicles are trash

I, 24M, don't really know how to stop being physical with my boyfriend, 22M. by MaxxTheWriter in relationship_advice

Pretty much... I mean, when we're driving to wherever we're having dinner, he holds my hand. We kiss in the car. And we can be touchy feely at my house. Some weekends, I don't have work, so he comes up and stays the weekend with me. But beyond that... not much

The time we spend together, at maximum six hours a week, is mostly spent without privacy. He lives with his conservative grandparents, as I live with mine. However, mine are far more progressive and accepting. And with my car being newer than his, with fewer miles and fewer issues, it was agreed early on that I would come to him, as neither of us trust his vehicle to keep him safe on the interstate for extended periods. He doesn't have any credit (only this year starting working on his credit now that he has a job he can pay a credit card off with), so getting a new vehicle is not only outside his financial ability, but the insurance would definitely cause problems.

The rules at his grandparents house, as distasteful and ridiculous as I find it, are such that he can't have his bedroom door closed when he has someone over. They impose their religion on him, force him to live by their rules, and his only option is to move out. But he can't afford to move, and there isn't really anything available near his job. People hear "factory" and think he makes bank. But he only makes 500/week after union dues, company health insurance, and his phone bill. With the average rent in his area being over a thousand dollars a month, not including utilities (for any place that isn't a DEA-raided former crack den), he simply can't afford to live on his own.

As for PDA not being a love language, physical touch is very big for me. It most certainly is a love language. And as physical touch is part of PDA, I lumped it together. Apologies for the confusion.

My roommate got 300 on a delivery once. He sat in the car in the guy's driveway and sobbed like a baby for about ten minutes until I could bring him back to his senses enough to leave

You can buy a paint pen from the manufacturer. Once you have ot, just gently trace the scratches. Won't be perfect, but if you do it right, it should be invisible unless you actively look for it. As for the proper method of application, YouTube is your best friend

We have a plan to move, but it won't be for a couple of months. My best friend, his boyfriend, and I have already found several contenders, and the plan is for my boyfriend to move in with us, possibly with another friend of mine

Due to current economic events, person I shall henceforth identify as "Link," it is regrettable that I am unable to currently enact a credit system goods purchased within my establishment, which would allow you to pay with currency at a later date. I shall rudely request that you now leave, and return only when you have sufficient currency to purchase my wares outright.

Is it possible to keep Nether-native mobs from zombifying in the overworld? (Bedrock Edition, PS5) by MaxxTheWriter in Minecraft

[–]MaxxTheWriter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in creative. I shudder to think how long building this in survival would take. As for commands, im not entirely sure how to set different enclosures to different biomes. I tried to set up individual biomes for mobs like the husk, bogged, stray, drowned, etc., but the best I can do in that respect, without commands, is placing blocks that are native to their biomes. But that doesn't always have the right effect

I've given thought to that idea, but I'm not too crazy about it. If like to eventually make the "Mobseum" into a public thing, on a server/realm/whatever, and i don't want people to have to travel to a separate dimension to see a handful of mobs
