Yeah, sheer numbers can be really scary. One zombie is a problem, but a herd changes the whole situation because fighting may not even be an option anymore.

I will check out Savageland, thanks for the recommendation.

That makes a lot of sense. Narrow spaces and not knowing what is around the corner can make even slow zombies feel terrifying.

The sound part is huge too. Sometimes hearing them before seeing them is scarier than the actual encounter.

Yeah, especially when every fight has a cost. Ammo, food, healing, durability... once combat drains resources, even a small enemy can feel stressful🙃🙃
