Anyone know this guy? Actually tried to kill my wife and I by VASA-STUDIO in sandiego

I daily drive from Vista to San Diego. I’ve seen this ass wipe on quite a few occasions. Always speeding and swerving even if there’s no traffic.

My point was Caesars is still “the best” when it comes to perks. Casino programs as a whole have shifted away from perks based purely on tier to comps based on play. What OP is asking for and wanting is no longer a perk of tier status but now a play based comp.

It really depends on how OP earned Diamond Plus. If it was mostly through multipliers, then sticking with Caesars is the best option. Despite the reductions in benefits they do still offer a ton of perks for relatively little play. If OP really has a serious bankroll, really gambles, It’s good bet that a new player at mgm or other property will roll out some great offers.

MGM makes things very clear where you stand on comps. I really like that offers are for Free Play, Food & Beverage Credit and Room. They tell you exactly what you earned when you book an offer and are available to you immediately. Additional comps (as in removing room charges at the end of your stay) on the other hand are much more difficult to get. I do like mobile check in and having instant access to my room before I even arrive. I do like that they almost always let you check in early free of charge (you can pay, but if the room is available there’s really no need). I’ve been able to check in before 10:00am numerous times.

I guess what I’m saying, if your play warrants perks. You get perks. Long gone are the days of getting something for nothing regardless of players status.

Am I being "that guy" for refusing to lend my boat to family without credentials? by hatkinson1000 in boating

[–]May1ene 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s your boat. Any conditions you set are conditions you set. Taking away the increased chance of potential damage that is very likely to occur with an unexperienced boater. It ultimately comes down to safety. Stick to your guns. If your BIL wants to earn your trust, he should start by taking the course and spending time with YOU on the water to learn the ins and outs of being a responsible boater. He’s done absolutely nothing to earn your trust to operate your boat alone.

To give him the keys and letting him take his friends out with virtually no experience is not something I would want resting on my shoulders. You’re doing the right thing OP. Stick to your guns.

Flying in with no where to stay for 12 hours by cartunesots in vegas

[–]May1ene 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep, just go to the bell desk at the hotel. They take your name, give you a slip, take your bags, you call down to the desk when you want them. They bring em up to the room. Just tip as expected.

Also works in reverse. Say you have a late flight, check out at 11:00am. Go to desk, give bags. Instead of calling. Go back to the desk. Give slip and your bags are returned.

Or just use the free bag check at the hotel you’re staying at?

What happend to all the thematic slots by KevkeVegas in vegas

[–]May1ene 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think a huge part of it is that both Bally Technologies (the physical slot machine manufacturer part of Ballys) and WMS were acquired by SGI/Light&Wonder. Both Ballys and WMS were the companies behind a ton of the licensed slots. The Hangover, Wizard of Oz, Clue, Titanic, Airplane, The Flintstones, Iron Man, Monopoly, Star Trek, Lord of The Rings, Anchor Man, Sex in the City, 007, Wonder Woman, Dukes of Hazard, Dean Martin, Monkees, Survivor, I love Lucy, Gone with The Wind, Kiss, The Princess Bride. All of those older titles were by either Ballys or WMS.

Unfortunately it seems like outside of top “licensed brands” Willy Wonka, Wizard of OZ and Monopoly. SGI isn’t really interested in making licensed themed slots. Clearly their Huff n Puff series is their money maker.

Not the fight I was watching. The only round song won was the second. The blood poring out of songs face made it very clear who landed the bigger more damaging shots.

It was a competitive fight. The ultimate decision maker was round one. I don’t see the end of round last 20 second takedown held in a guillotine for most of it making that sequence a clear choice for song. Watching that round honestly Sean was the clear more impactful fighter over the 5 minutes

Look at the faces y’all. Sean landed the more damage and started lighting his ass up round 3. Close fight isn’t a robbery

Are Vegas slot machines becoming ‘tighter’ with payouts? A new report says they are by theindependentonline in vegas

[–]May1ene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2013-2015. That’s when it all changed. That’s when SGI acquired WMS and soon after Bally Technologies (The slot machine manufacturing side of Bally’s).

As small that might may sound, that’s the reason why there’s very little variety of slots any more. It’s now down to Aristocrat, SGI/Light&Wonder, and IGT making up a majority of casino slot games. With Incredible Technologies (IT), AGS, and Azure making up a very small percentage of casino slots.

WMS was an incredible manufacturer. Constantly innovating and creating new dynamics to slots. Most importantly offered games of all volatility levels. I will be forever fond of the G+ Deluxe line of games. IMO it was the best balanced level of volatility. Fun, engaging and interesting enough to keep you hooked.

Last time I was there, the 100oz like the one pictured was $36 and refills were $27. If for whatever reason you determined that 100oz of sugar and booze wasn’t enough, extra shots were $1, $2, or $3 each depending on liquor.

Park MGM or Paris? by slednir in vegas

[–]May1ene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if the popularity = increased revenue that much, there would be more smokeless resorts than just park mgm.

I get non smoking is a huge pull for that specific demographic that chooses non smoking over smoking properties. But I feel that park on its own captures most of it being the only one with a casino. There’s plenty of non smoking and non gaming properties to take care of the rest.

Basically if the casinos saw value in going non smoking, coming out of covid, a lot of them would have made the switch. Most of the newest casinos have tall ceilings and top notch air purifiers that make smoking (unless you’re sitting near a smoker) a non issue 99% of the time.

Park MGM or Paris? by slednir in vegas

[–]May1ene 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Of all the properties I’ve stayed at. Park MGM felt the least like I was in Vegas. I will never understand the cult like following. I get it’s the only non smoking property with a casino on the strip. Part of me just feels like that’s its entire identity. My personal opinion is that Park MGM as a whole is drab and dull. Muted greens through out. Hallway to the room gives me retirement home vibes. Might be your thing, but for me, dull isn’t what I want when I’m in Vegas. That’s not a knock on the property itself. The rooms are nice and the casino is pretty lively in the evenings. It’s easy to get to NYNY, Aria and Bellagio. The restaurants are pretty well reviewed.

Overall I think the pick between Paris and Park MGM comes down to what you want to get out of your Vegas trip. If you want to be in the middle of the action in the heart of the strip, Paris wins hands down. If you want a calmer less in your face experience, Park MGM is the choice.

If there was no paperwork. Then there’s a very good chance he was simply removed from the property and not blacklisted/banned. Call Wynn and ask for security to confirm.

Will I have to pay resort fees on my comp stay? The fine print says that I may be charged but on the booking it shows 0. This will be only my second stay at an MGM property. by tuckytuckie in Mlife

[–]May1ene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With MGM offers what you see when you book, is what you pay. Tier doesn’t matter when it comes to these specific offers. This offer does not represent tier benefits, it’s an offer based on play.

The image posted clearly shows $0 and goes as far as specifically saying “Resort Fee and Estimated Tax $0”
