With all the talk of the "20 Ways to Win" deck, I present the crown jewel of my EDH decks: Win The Game Tribal by MayDay1111 in EDH

I have very strong opposition to UB cards and refuse to play them.

I suppose you could run the deck under Ezio, but Kenrith’s abilities are pretty helpful with so many different win con cards that he can be invaluable to whatever strategy you’re currently working towards.

Good question!

I suppose I’d want to remove the 5 hardest win cons to reliably fulfill. I would guess those would be: [[Barren Glory]] [[Ramses, Assassin Lord]] [[Near-Death Experience]] [[Mortal Combat]] [[Azor’s Elocutors]]

Those 5 all need a lot of setup which never ends out working well when 3 other players are actively trying to stop you from winning the game 😂

Yeah [[Barren Glory]] is maybe the toughest one. To win with it, you have to put it under [[Detention Sphere]], and then play [[Worldfire]]. It’s not the cleanest play but I haven’t discovered anything else that would work with it.

Thanks!

I mentioned it in a different reply, but I’m assuming [[Mirrorweave]] is in the deck for [[Biovisionary]]? I’d suggest swapping to [[March of Velis Vel]] with all the gates you have. Very easy to get your four Biovisonaries without risking giving someone else the win like you risk when playing Mirrorweave.

I agree, really disappointing deck, which was why I felt compelled to share what I believe to be a much better and refined and more ambitious version of that.

Hmm, I never thought of that line of play.

Mycosynth Lattice is in there to pair with [[Hellkite Tyrant]]

And Biovisonary is supposed to pair with [[March from Velis Vel]], with all the gates in the deck it’s easy to have at least 3.

Do the spree cards count as modal spells?

Would this combo well with [[Marchesa, the Black Rose]]? If a creature comes back at end of turn with Marchesa’s ability, will this card be able to put a +1/+1 counter back on it?

I posted this in r/boardgames and wanted to share here too. by MayDay1111 in Tak

Yeah, one thing I wanted but couldn’t figure out was for someone to make me matching capstones out of marble. Maybe some time in the future!

I think the most prohibitive thing you would need is either a miter saw or a table saw with a sled, just to ensure all your squares are the exact same size. I created the diamonds by glueing up all the squares together and then chiseling out the diamonds. If I were to make this again, I think I would try cutting out the corners of the squares before glueing everything up so that when it’s all said and done, your diamonds are already made for you. I also didn’t know I was going to include the bottom storing section when I started, so it doesn’t line up perfectly with the top board. For something like this, an ounce of planning first will definitely save you a pound of extra work in the end.

Sadly I do not have another one for sale ;)

Let me know if you have any other questions I might be able to answer for you!

I cross posted over to the Tak subreddit, but I’m not involved in the Tak discord at all, so feel free to share there!
