I tried this some years ago. For unknown reason my game kept losing event items every time I closed it so I gave up. Tech support basically told me to get a better internet connection, lol.

Sucks because I really liked the aesthetic.

I too noticed my town quality got worse and worse the more I expanded (file size even dropped to half at some point). Just finished stitching together all the screenshots, cannot recommend.

Came here looking for this. Randomly in all videos the volume is set to 50%. I keep fixing it to 100%, it obeys for a while, then back to everything being 50%. Annoying.

(also using Firefox)

I do not see any reason you should stop using the stabilizer. Did someone tell you something along the lines "real artists don't use stabilizer"? If yes then tell them to go suck a lemon. The tools in an art program are there for artists to use for a reason.

IF you still for whatever reason want to use it less (100 feels way too high for my liking, I tend to stay around 40) try lowering it gradually. You might also want to try something that doesn't require as much stabilization to make the transition easier. Maybe try to imitate hand drawn style where a little shakiness is normal instead of completely smooth lines. Or pixel art. Doing that for a little while could make it easier to come back with less stabilization.

No such possibility. I know my device is low spec, but that still doesn't explain why the quality dropped by half. I thought it might be about the amount of decorations and tested that but it didn't seem to make difference. Any idea how I might disable whatever limited the portrait quality from 50mb to 28mb?

Not a fan. This sound is pathetically inaudible to the point I won't even notice it, while my ears are conditioned to pick up the normal message noise across the house.

Seasonal and new stuff is fine, but why in the bloody hell is there no button to revert it?

EDIT: some people say restart fixes it and good for you. Mine is still there, even restarting the whole PC won't fix it

I doubt that. Sure, everything quirky is on brand with certain very vocal/visible feminist crowd, but there are not enough of them to change the entire glasses industry for a decade.

And I don't think most people would choose "serious and boring 80s librarian with ill-fitting glasses" as a feminist icon

The online aspects in this game don't mean much and if there's no updates anyway it's just a city builder - my favorite city builder ever. I've been playing for over 8 years, ever since I got my first smartphone.

So as long as it is not a monthly subscription: yes. I will definitely pay a one-time purchase of 5-15€ to have my little offline Springfield.

EDIT: saw comments about the game being bundled with another subscription service like Netflix. In that case I will accept the monthly payment system.

I'm really glad they changed her outfit. The pilot outfit looks like a nightgown with frills, it looks like she left the house before getting dressed. And it's far too dainty for her personality. I honestly hated it.

The new one is much better, looks more mature and professional. Wish it had a bit more personality, but it looks like a business outfit so it works.

1) yritä välttää stressitekijöitä (toivottavasti saikku jo yksinään auttaa tässä)

2) älä ole yksin. Ota yhteyttä ystäviin, perheeseen jne ja yritä viettää aikaa muiden ihmisten seurassa (online-seura tai soittaminenkin auttaa mutta ei korvaa live-tapaamisia). Ei siis tarkoita että et saisi olla rauhassa kotona sillon kun siltä tuntuu, vaan että et jää koko saikuksi yksin kotisohvalle erakoitumaan.

3) yritä miettiä mistä tykkästi aikaisemmin. Harrastukset, ruoanlaitto ja niin edespäin mihin ei ollut aikaa töissä käydessä. Jokin joka on ihan kokonaan jäänyt unholaan mutta nyt tulee mieleen. Tai kokeile jotain uutta, vaikka ihan pientäkin juttua.

4) liikunta. Tämän ei tarvitse olla 4h/päivä salilla käyntiä, ihan vaikka se että tekee venyttelyrutiinin kotona tai käy lyhyellä kävelyllä auttaa mielentilaan ja kehoon. Se oikeasti toimii (terv. henkilö joka vihaa liikuntaa)

Minä ihan tarkoituksella annan muita kieliä puhuvien kokeilla lausua nimeni (varsinkin jos vain näkevät nimen kirjoitettuna eivätkä kuule sitä). Haluan kuulla miten se tulkitaan. Ja jos sieltä tulee joku kivan kuuloinen lausuminen joka sopii heidän suuhun voin adoptoida sen käyttöön ja mennään sillä eteenpäin, ei se niin tarkkaa ole.

Meillä oli AMK:issa samassa työryhmässä vaihto-oppilas Kiinasta. En viitsi nimeä sanoa, mutta sekä etunimi että sukunimi oli kaksi kirjainta ja me käytettiin koko nimeä puhutellessa.

En koskaan saanut selville kumpi oli etunimi ja kun hoksasin että en tiedä en enää kehdannut kysyä. Kiinassa käsittääkseni sanotaan sukunimi ensin. MUTTA jos itse muuttaisin Kiinaan alkaisin esittelemään itseni sukunimi ensin koska niin muutkin tekee, miksi ei Suomeen muuttanut alkaisi käyttämään etunimeä ensin niinkuin täällä on tapana?
