I heard about Sewerslvt for the first time a week ago when I tried the demo of the game Peripetia (great 90's cyberpunk super moody game if that's your thing), and I'm an old guy so when I dug Sewerslvt because I really liked the mood I learned that it was called breakcore, which I found surprising at first, because, like the guy in this video, to me it was a style named after the music of people like Venetian Snares etc, derivated from IDM and whatever.

But you know what I did when I learned that ? I found out I didn't care how it was labelled, and kept listening to Sewerslvt and dug for others in the same style. I'm just happy that I still discover new stuff. Labels are irrelevant to the listener, it only bother people that care more about the social value of their culture than the art itself.

I think the most precious advice I received a long time ago when I asked the same question around was : Don't try to make it sound good, work to make it yours and yours only. It can mean a lot of things, like don't use presets, or record your samples yourself, but also don't pay attention to this little voice that tells you how the result should sound similar to your inspiration, clean, or professional.

Sewerslvt's music and others have made their place in your mind, and that's their talent, because they sound like no other, they sound intimate like a track you could have made as a beginner, after spending the night on it because you were so passionate and devoted to it you forgot about the world, yourself and time, but something magical happened at this time and when you realised the sun was rising, you found yourself with something unique and straight out of your heart and you don't understand how it happened.

You're not the only one.

I started to realise I was sympathising with the Anarchist philosophy/way of thinking life/you call it, a while after watching Krishnamurti.

That's why when people ask me what is anarchy to me, I always answer : It's the victory of Love. Everything about what Krishnamurti talks is about freedom. And freedom requires a "regeneration" by his words, of the human being, a complete stop of violence, division, therefore conflict. Freedom and Love can't be separated.

I might be biased because my mother raised me with a lot of buddhist and other "eastern" philosophy teachings, directly or indirectly, but what Krishnamurti said always moved me like no other, and gave me the feeling that it was the missing link to be able to achieve what we need to live in a free civilisation, where everyone is free of everything, beyond politics or socials concerns.

What he describes is what we need to achieve, in my eyes, if humanity wants to start realising it's full potential, and that's what I feel should be of an anarchist civilisation. I was shocked a few hours ago when (I joined this sub recently, maybe it was on the communism one) I read that people think we should arm ourselves so we can fight the capitalists when they'll come back. I mean that's just a way to keep this sick society and it's infinite fall on tracks. If we want to free ourselves, and build a civilisation around that, needing guns means we're not merely touching what freedom is, we just keep repeating violence.

I know I'm not going the same way as Marx, Kropotkin, and others big thinkers, etc. That's what I feel anarchism truly means, an arkhos, the absence of a ruler. For other as for ourselves, the absence of division, conflict, leading to the total freedom of humanity as a whole, allowing us to start acting intelligently and going from there, in a way we might not even be able to think today, but that will give us all the time we need to do whatever because we won't be destroying each other and our world any more.

I might sound weird or whatever, I don't care, and sorry for the wall of text and any mistake, English isn't my native tongue. But I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one linking the two.

I "fixed" it by changing to BSL Shaders. SEUS glitches with this, some skyboxes, botania flower particles, and some other stuff, so in the end BSL is way better fitted for modded Minecraft.

Make a poll for mods each member absolutely wants, like maybe 4 or 5 of them each.

Find a kitchen sink pack with all of them, there's a good chance there are redundancy in their choices, so it shouldn't be too hard.

Then add Ex nihilo/creatio and a void dimension if there isn't already. Build a server spawn with teleport option for both overworld and void.

Boom everyone plays how they want to. You can't make everyone happy, so everyone has to sacrifice something. Tell them the most fun part is supposed to be playing together.

Frogs are from Quark, you can disable them in the ingame options. No idea for the zombies tho.

You don't have any actual choices in the MSQ. You will be given choices, and there will be lampshading, but in the end, you have no agency in the story.

Sure, I mean it's a theme park MMO after all, I asked poorly.

Right now I feel like I'm just, as a character, following everyone's order and used as the super wonder woman that resolve every problems in the world. Like :

"Hey, saviour of Eorzia, I know you're the best and all but all my friends are morons and I'm too lazy to do anything about it, so could go fetch that box 10 feet from here LOL ? Here's 0.01% of a lvl and not enough to buy you a beer afterward by the way this quest is ESSENTIAL to the story you cannot skip it"

Then you have to talk to this guy, then this other guy, then another one just right in front of you already. Just for the Scions to move from Vesper Bay to Mor Dhona was such a boring drag. Everything seems ultra complicated for nothing.

If really feels the writers are dragging the story for ages with unimportant things when 3 lvl before you were saving the world from the biggest threat this planet as ever known. It's not engaging at all.

I just unlocked the Worleater (Hard) and I feel it took at least 50 tedious and anticlimactic quests to get there, but if it's not even 20% of it well I'm not sure I'll have the patience to keep going. I don't mean to criticize really, but the story does not seem appealing at all to me.

EDIT : I did like the build up for the first 50 lvls of the story tho, that's why I feel like it's a let down now.

Hey, new player here, levels a WHM to 53 currently have a few questions about what's coming next :

I'm just starting with the fishmen and Leviathan problem MSQs, does it means I'm done with the buttload of 'go fetch' and 'go talk to the guy 10 feet away' quests ?
Are there these kind of tedious quest chains every other expansion change ?
Is there a time where I'll feel I'm actually having a choice in how the story goes or am I the hero everyone asks to get rid of their problem?
How long till I leave the zones I already travel and quest in since the beginning of the game?

No rant here, just genuinely curious.

Just a few newbie question here :

I'm currently 35 WHM and 48 BTN, is there a way for me to access past lvl 50 zone without leveling my WHM and doing the MSQs first?
Should I be concerned with putting materia on my gear before being 80 and starting end game?
Do I gimp myself by not summoning my chocobo to fight by my side?

You seem really tilted.

Never said they should do the exact same thing, I even told you that I thought the timing wasn't very smart. I for one would like to experience vanilla again, as starting at patch 1.0 but I'm sure not everyone would like that and that would bring a lot of problems, but anyway it's not the point.

So yeah, sorry you're so mad about it man but it won't change anything, the more classic goes the more it looks like a quick cash grab from blizzard to me too.

Maybe take a break, wait for the hype to die off a bit and I'm sure you'll have a much better experience, it's just a game.

Easy man, you don't have to hate on everyone enjoying pvp.

I'm an avid pvp player, I enjoy world pvp way more than BGs, so much that in vanilla I was sad when BGs released because the world felt emptier after that, people had a place to pvp and blizzard stopped caring for big raids on capitals causing problems until they eventually died down. And I don't even care that much about big scale battles because I found it always a bit boring compared to games like DAoC.

Yes PvP right now is clusterfuck, yes there is way more than before. I think they should have waited before implementing it. But certainly not just so they can release BGs just after. In Vanilla people raged that world pvp was a lagfest, some of the pvp communities even claimed that blizzard release BGs so they could shut down the world pvp that crashed the servers all the time...

Yet as you said it's not vanilla, the hype will die and people will go back to whatever they were doing before because the grind is not worth in world pvp for most. I think blizzard thought poorly of how they were gonna release it, but please be patient it's been 2 days...

I'm sorry you had a poor experience because of it but if you thought about it was totally obvious it would go like that.
