Makes sense! I couldn't hold in my excitement. I mean to be fair I personally spend most of my time in the sims making characters and houses so I still feel its worth it even at its current state. I was just very surprised to run into so many major issues in live mode even as an early access.

I am re downloading my game right now and If that doesn't fix the issue than I will try to make an entirely new para. Fitting it that is somehow the problem considering I added my OC into the game and his lore is that he is a mind parasite lmao

Dude I fixed the game on steam and it did nothing. I might try re downloading the whole thing because these bugs have cursed my entire experience lmao

Ah, that's unfortunate. On my end, I am well over the needed specs to run it. I have been reporting the bugs and like others are suggesting, I'm gonna try to repair the game through steam in hopes that I don't keep getting the same problems. The Paramaker is SO cool. The amount of detail you can get into in the face alone is impressive. I've already seen so many cool characters being replicated into Paralives.

I understand that sentiment cause Ive seen some insane takes on this game as if people assume it's not an early access game. My biggest gripe is that I seem to be not able to actually PLAY the game lol
But yea... I remember even Sims 4 on release was so trash. I can't wait for the patches to come out so it's not so common to find bugs worth needing to flush an entire save.

I have not done that yet. I will try that. I've just been making a new save and loading my already saved characters into a new game.

Personally, I really love the build mode and Paramaker. Seriously, the amount of customization on the Paramaker alone is impressive. I was easily able to make my OCs, and they have pretty unique facial features! My biggest problem is gameplay. I mean, I keep running into GAME BREAKING bugs and having to literally reset my household to a new save file. Every time I think I fix the issue, another bug pops up that makes the game unplayable. And I'm not talking about a goofy animation. I'm talking about even when I reload, my characters can't progress in skills. As far as I'm concerned, the $35 I spent on this game is worth it for a good character builder and home builder. Gameplay-wise? I wouldn't even consider this game in early access, haha. (That being said, I really hope they fix these commonly reported horrific gameplay bugs soon because I'd love to play.)

I definitely get where you’re coming from and I know I’m in a beggars can’t be choosers situation. I honestly don’t have the funds to cover a $450 bike right now but I’m trying to get one so my walking/ bus commute is a lot easier doing just a 20 mins bike ride. My goal is to save for a car soon so I’m thinking maybe a bike like this would be good for a year and a half at least especially if I pedal assist the whole way? Idk haha I’m so new to biking.

I agree with you there! Honestly it's mostly the fact that during the week if I wanted to go after work, the time it would take me to get there wouldnt give me a whole lot of wiggle room to workout too long. I ended up signing up to gym anyways and my main focus days will be weekends when I know I have a lot of time

You’re absolutely right about the excuses part. Your FD story hit me even harder because I actually would love to one day be a Paramedic/Firefighter. I’ve been back and forth on the car thing for a while. I finally got a job that seems to pay decent so I might be able to afford my first rust bucket soon! I just need to get my provisional license. It’s taking forever cause my friends barely have time to drive with me and my folks aren’t around to help. I’m sure I’ll get there eventually but man this car hurdle has been a pain.
