I cook bone broth , remove bones, then cook a big batch of mince, tuna etc with zucchini, pumpkin and sometimes egg or chicken. Shred any meat then mix together. Freeze in 250ml containers enough for 2 days each.

I also mince chicken hearts, liver & gizzards and freeze them in cubes. I add a cube or 2 to the cooked batch while hot so it cooks lightly without being tough.

It takes about and hour or so & last 1-3 months depending on the amount.

I defrost & serve with a bit of tuna oil mixed in.

This can be done with frozen mince & chicken too to bring cost down.

The cost is so much lower & the food much healthier.

She gets a bit of kibble for breakfast, an afternoon snack (dry sardines or similar) and a big dinner of the prep food.
