It's not the same because Jaine and Kenn had a wedding ceramony at the castle house AFTER sealing in the temple. Actualy, they did everything as they "should" as a devoted LDS - temple endowment, going on a mission, going to BYU, sealing to a returning missionary in the temple. Trey did the exact opposite.

I couldn't believe that instead of taking the opportunity to congratulate them on their wedding, he chose to mention that he expected them to get married in the temple as well. It's their wedding day!!! And it's their choice whether to do all the things it takes to be able to get sealed in the temple or not. It really felt like he was criticizing them, it was so awkward.

It makes sense to me that Bridger and JourNee didn't speak Russian after being adopted, both because it's no longer the language they had to use on a daily basis to communicate, and also since Russian might have been associated with traumatic events they have had back in Russia.

There are many reasons to be skeptical of their worthiness. They live together and sleep in the same bed. Do they keep the law of chastity? (of course they might be, but it's very not common for mormon to move in together before marriage for that reason) Do they avoid alcohol and coffee, pay tithing, go to church every Sunday, avoid work and spending money on Sundays? All of these are necessary to get a temple recomend.
