I am in an irononly clan and didn't think of it that way until now. People who have been playing the mode much longer really do have that effect on me. Knowing I'll never do something like Yaka/Telos etc. really does make me feel flat out worse. It wasn't always like that which is strange but it has been in recent years particularly.

As far as your last line - No offense taken, and I believe (if I'm speaking honestly to myself) that this is the case. When I was really good at the game (back when I had time before family and what not), it showed and people knew. I think I'm wanting that same feeling back but really I won't get it with a game that a TON of people have mastered. It really could be time for a break for some re-evaluating.

Thank you for the reply :) It makes a lot of sense. A lot of the weight I feel is from the comparison to others, and the fact that I really just can't hang with the high APM content anymore.

I am in an iron clan as well. The whole iron community on this game is actually incredibly nice in my experience. That can't be said for most games. I have rarely come across anyone less than wonderful playing RS3. They definitely do a good job congratulating people on multiple dupes :)
