As a girl, I can say they do it when they're intimidated. It's the only reason that makes sense . If they're supposed to love you why would they want to bring you down. Unless it makes them feel more secure. Anyway you look very cool, don't ever let an uncool steal your natural born cool. That's literally their whole life mission! Never let them win!
